I am bisexual and have a hard time meeting women.
I am not into the bar or club scene
and I am kinda shy...
I would love to get some tips on how I can go about meeting some women.

Actually a lesbian bar 0r cocktail lounge, is totally different from any other typical bar, night club, or disco lounge. In comparison to Gay Bars (whose clientelee is mainly for Gay Men) and Other typical Hetero Bars/Discos, mainly because they are meeting places to chat and socialize with friends who as it happens - are other women.
Have you been to many Lesbian Bars? Or have you only been to a Guys - gay bar?
Because lesbian bars, are not as numerous as typical gay (male) discos. Most women's bars are not openly advertised, because they would prefer to not attract adverse clientel.
Finding one is more often through word of mouth because this is an establishment for women exclusively.
They don't want obnoxious hetero males with their narrow minded ways to meddle or make trouble, especially those who are rude, insensitive, and abusive.
Otherwise, for the time being your best bet is to visit chat rooms and just chat, since you're basically anonymous your privacy shouldn't be a problem, just network and see if you can find a "ladies only" club to visit or hang out at.
Try to get a name of a place and a location, from different people, that way you're doing your research with cross refferences. Find out what the place is like and what the clientele is like.
Women's bars are much more exclusive than you may think.
Not sleazy like mens' bars gay or straight.

I don't know much about this stuff but have you tried looking at Planet Out's website? They might have addresses you can write to for a listing of your state's local gay/lesbian/bisexual organizations. People belonging to those groups would know where to hang out and meet cool people without going bar hopping.
Another thing you can do is just get out there and start doing things you love to do. Favorite activities, hobbies, etc. Pick something that will force you to be in a social situation you can handle. That will bring out the happiness and friendliness inside you and attract the kind of people you'd like. They'll come to you instead of you having to wait for them.
It'll sound like a stereotype, but you could try poetry readings or acting classes, something with the arts. Even if you don't meet women, you'd meet guys more likely to know more people you could meet. It'll be fun.

I think you need to get out into the real world. Volunteer at a clinic, work on a political campaign, join a bike club or sports activity, go to the gym, meet lots of people. Some of them will be lesbian or bisexual! It will be rare that one of them will just come knocking on your door!

go to websites with chat rooms and u should find a gay/bisexual chat room and just meet someone over the internet....i think yahoo has a bisexual chatroom u should go check it out and if chat is not ur thing maybe u just need 2 gain some confidence and go to a gay bar or something like that but i would kno im only 14 but good advice aint it

If you're into it, you could try yahoo personals, or mingles.com or any personals site and search for those in your area with common interests and whatnot.
There are plenty of fish in the sea so give it some time, and I'm sure you'll meet someone soon.

that is very hard, but you can try may be internet dating, Aff. so you may find someone there. most of women like to try out things and i know you amy find somoene to join you. or have fantasy of being with another women.

If you are in a small town, you are pretty much out of luck. But if in a big town, just dont be shy with your looking at girls u find attractive in a sexual way. Eventually, you will find plenty other girls who like girls
