Some of them are.
Some of them have just been taught to hate by their parents, or unfortunately, by their place of worship.
I cannot understand how some people who preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people have the gall to call themselves 'christian.'

I think there are some homosexuals in denial who are homophobic, but others are truly straight, just uncertain of what that means for them. They seem to think that if they can put us down, then the fact that they are not happy in their lives will go away. Alas, no.

Lets live for god and gayness".......

Maybe. I think people who don't understand certain things imitates them. My mother who is very loving is a bit of homophobia even though she does have gay friends. She just can't understand why anyone would be attracted to the same sex.

I used to really have contempt for Lesbians and it had nothing to do with my straightness so to say. After talking on here for a bit it's helped alot.
So thats not always true.

I think that they are just afraid because they don't understand. People tend to fear what they don't understand. You could be right though, they might not understand their own gayness.
