she works at world market! i'm a lesbian but the thing is i don't look like the stereotypical lesbian, so i doubt she knows i am. i don't even know her name and have only seen her twice. how do i approach a girl i don't even know and ask her out on a date? it's soo difficult. i've never had to deal with it before. tips, please!! :)

Do you know what the new year hug is. I do, it's when you have to hug everyone at January 1st 12:00 a.m.

I hate it, I mean, why do we have to hug people that we don't even know?

Do american people do this too or is it only from hispanic cultures? What do u think about it?

I don't get it...

I know straight men are attracted to girls.
But if you're going to support lesbians then why not support gay males to?

I want to hear answers from straight men to.

Never mind the moral points on this question, but a friend is dating a married woman. She is a lesbian and the married woman is bi-I guess. Well this X-mas the married woman was talking to my friend on the phone and started to tell her about the gifts she got her husband and how she surprized him. How much he loved his gifts. She was saying this to her lover of many years. Was this direspectful to have this conversation with her lover about her husband??

i am NOT armenian, im filipino...
i just live in a place where there's ALOT of them!!
im not sure if this is true, but i often hear ppl saying that armenians are pushy..i always say no, cuz most of my friends are armenians and they arent pushy...well, sometimes. so, my questions are:

do u think ur pushy?
do u think ur friendly?
do u like teaching ur language to other ppl who dont know it?
are u from glendale?

and by the way, one of my iranian friends says she hates armenians, though she is one, that is so odd.

i have been crying, due to the shock, and because i know he will have a more challenging life; i advised him strongly to watch out for homophobs and esp to practice safe sex, he is mature and already knew these things. WHat can i do to be more supportive? His father --my ex--is being a typical real s**t about it. I love my son UNCONDITIONALLY and want to be there for him even more now. I am Catholic and expect to run into a lot of BS later about it from other Catholics. If anyone puts him down, they will be out of my life for good.

Since my mother turned 60 she is not the same woman. She says all the time that she doesn't care about anything or anyone and she only wants to do things for herself. She took off for 3 days right in the middle of the Holidays when all her children and grand-children were reunited (only happens once a year). Her excuse: she was visiting her sisters. And she took off the morning her youngest son got into town and she had not seen him in 6 months. My father had a stroke a few years ago and he's disoriented sometimes and she is just not there for him to physically help him or emotionally support him.

What's happening to our mother? I am 42 y/o and I never ever questioned my mother about anything, I have the most respect for my parents but I am starting to wonder if I should for once say something?

I have a large family. I can't let my kids out front. We have about 15 kids hanging out right outside my door, they talk filthy, they are prejudice. They cuss my kids, beat em up on the way to school & call em whiteys.
We don't want to talk to the parents because, the kids cuss in front of the parents. The stereos are always full blast. The few white neighbors, NEVER, come out. My husband feels like it's because our kids are white. Most people on our street are mostly hispanic, a few black. We are a blended cultured family. My husband is hispanic, 5 of our kids are white. Our youngest is mixed. He grew up in a large hispanic family, who is prejudice. they were alot like these kids. So, he feels like he , recognizes this treatment. Because, he & his family treated. white people the same way.
My question is, What can we do? We are buying this house, we just want to relax in our own home. We can't leave the front door open. These kids are out front ALL DAY except school hour
