this is purely one hundred% homicide once you're a non secular fundamentalist. while you're actually not, you ought to use reason to look on the subject in greater intensity. relying on the country you reside in, abortion many times isn't homicide if this is carried out interior the 1st 3 months of the being pregnant. interior the united kingdom (my united states of america) this is completely legal (ie not homicide) to have an abortion if the being pregnant is decrease than 24 weeks previous. a similar is the case in fantastically plenty all western countries i understand approximately, and that i assume south africa is a similar. Any later than that and you will never be allowed to have one till your man or woman life is in possibility. while attempting to decide on if this is homicide or not, keep in mind that a foetus isn't a man or woman yet, it does not experience discomfort or emotion like a baby or an person. The question is, at what element does a foetus exchange into more advantageous sufficient to initiate feeling discomfort and emotion?

I know for a fact that abortion is not murder. It is a fact that abortion was invented by God and is used every day in the form of miscarriage and natural abortion. I know for a fact that each time a fetus is aborted, enough resources are released that 12 born and loved children can be saved. And I know that it is better to save 12 than to save a single fetus. I know for a fact that when a pro lifer saves a fetus he is contributing to the death of kids that are already born. And I know that churches that do not follow God are making a killing off killing these kids and opposing abortion. Most other answers here are simply opinion, my answer is fact.

In my opinion yes, it is a form of murder. It is the legal murder of a yet to be born baby. I have lost three babies through miscarriage. I lost babies & not a blob of tissue! I was just at 14 weeks when I lost my last baby, many women are still getting abortions at 14 weeks. I held my baby! She had a head arms hands legs feet, she was a baby! They ( nurse and Dr.s) took her away from me and I could not bury her because I had was not 5 months along yet. I know what I saw I saw a baby! She was very tiny. I don't know what they did with my baby when they took her out of my arms. Maybe thew her in the incinerator like they do when they amputate legs or arms, The Hospital staff would not tell me what they did with the baby. She would have been 23 years old. I lost the other two babies at 2&1/2 months each. I never saw them.
I wish these women would just give birth and put
these unwanted babies up for adoption!

Even though life begins at conception, our hearts beat early in utero, we respond to what we hear and grow nourished by proxy, we don't breathe until birth. Therefore we haven't yet become another functional person in society.
Every abortion decision depends on the individual circumstance, and every potential mother's life is as valuable as the fetus's.
I've had difficulty struggling over decades with this issue, at one point blowing up, thinking right-to-lifers should have unwanted, neglected, abused children bused to their neighborhoods to raise.
Also, outside incest, rape, life endangerment or the destruction of the potential mother's future career path, the potential father has the same full rights in the decision as she does.
The alternative to grant life to the fetus into the care of someone else other than the father who may not be prepared for parenthood either -- considering how many people would love to be parents, is also the woman's decision, whether to rearrange her life nine months and go through the agony of birth.
Since birth control precautions aren't always in place or foolproof, righteous preventative outcries are moot, and there is no duty that a woman bear children regardless her circumstance.

It is killing a living thing, so I would say that it is murder.
The only way that I would see that it is necessary to get an abortion is if the woman was raped and did not want to carry the child.
There are so many folks out there that want a baby and can't have one on their own for all the abortions to be going on.
I know this is a very touchy subject for some. I was trying to walk very carefully with this. Even though I could say a lot more about this subject, I won't, I have respect for other folks.

Yes, I do. I completely believe that a woman has the right to decide what happens with her own body, but women are in a unique situation where they are the carriers of another human life which cannot survive without them. I realize that there are all sorts of awful situations that make you wonder if it is going to be the kindest choice to carry a baby to full term, but none of us can know if that person's life is worth disposing of. It upsets me when I hear the term "terminating a pregnancy". Women who want their babies think of it as a baby from the start and those who don't terminate a pregnancy. Should we inform women who are grieving over a miscarriage that they were only imagining it was a real "baby"?

Yes, I do. Most abortions are performed when the fetus is fully developed, IE, head, arms, legs and body. It is not just a few cells with no form. That idea is an excuse for those who do not want to think of the fetus as worth saving. Also, the heart is beating. How much more alive can it be? To me, that is killing a living being.

I am certainly a senior at 80! Yes, I don't think it is murder to kill your unborn baby, but the baby is alive and a separate human being just not born yet.So I do believe abortion is "KILLING" the unborn baby. It is murder if the baby could live outside of the mothers womb, IE partial birth abortions.
That is how I feel about it.

Having seen how many answers you already have here, I know the question is volatile, and I am sure many have said what I am about to say....Abortion , is the termination of a pregnancy and expulsion of a fetus that is often capable of survival if left in utero until delivery. In other words it is killed, I believe to be killed is the same as murder...

Hi Wick wire, Yes, without any exceptions it is murder. If the child or the Mother is at risk, then it is up to the Father or next of kin if the mother is not able to make the decision as to who should live or die. I do not believe in Roe vs Wade a this age. I did believe in it based on what we knew back then. But as has been said, that "Baby is a baby by 6 weeks with a heart beat, and by 8 weeks can suck oh his fingers, hear, etc, so what if it can't live on it's own, a new born to be can't live on it's own till it is born either..s/he eats and breathes through the mother! I believe life begins at the moment of conception, and whether or not we are raped or have lousy parents is not reason to abort babies. Do you know how hard it is for Americans to get Caucasian babies? Hard! Many adopt Russian Babies, etc. So there is no reason for it here in the US. As for races there are plenty of children to adopt, in and out side this country. The bible says "Thou Shalt Not Kill" and also he Said "If anyone show hurt one of these little ones it will be worse for them.." So I think it is clear it is not acceptable. Partial birth abortion is so horrible, it is barbaric and the reason it was OK'd was so that Roe vs Wade would not be chipped away at. That is just a crock! Hillary is for it, and when she wrote her first health care plan, it actually implied that youth over the aged in terms of organ transplants....among other things.. beware!! Now this is my opinion, but I respect others right to their opinion, as well, and so we can always agree to disagree. : )
