me name is clare i come straight out of milan italy into united states which in chicago illinois that be i need some help with my learnings im still very attracted to me own kind and not to well with my speaking i have made one friend who is irish who loves me lots but im new to this country i need some help understanding habbits of peoples over here and stuff people think me weird cause the way i act but i don't know the point of acting here like american please help me to a fit in

I'm not offended by it, because i'm not gay... But just really sad, ignorence is being passed on to younger kids.. they dont even know what their believing..
god hate fags= came from the movie ' fall from grace' its about a guy who starteded an organation about hating fags... its sad

For me, it was watching an unexpected snow fall begin when
we arrived at our daughters today. A first snowfall at Christmas, we've never seen before. Then after opening our

I would say alcohol rub down for fevers. Two of my children refuse medication ( they are autistic ) and those rub downs have brought down many fevers for me!

years ago do you remember taking " cola syrup" to see if your stomach was settled ? Or giving it to your kids? Mine was! If I passed the cola test I could have plain tost w/ plain tea and if I passed again butter on the toast and sugar and cream in the tea!

So Im sitting around talking to my cousins about work. It seems that the more educated they are, the more likely they are to have contempt for white people. They all say the same thing. "I dont hate white people, I just hate working with them"

They were talking about white people who are nosy. They say they are backstabbers. They constantly undermine their judgements, and so on. I was really surprised to hear this from some of them. One of my cousins used to hang around the white kids in highschool. Now she complains "white people just dont get me"

What happens to black people once they enter the professional class that makes them disdain white people?

here's the thing, we've been dating for more that a year already. But the last couple of months, was more than hell. So last week, i have decided to end the whole thing. i gave her a ring as my gift to her and a letter which explained it all.. that i need to be away and all so that i can think, move on and all that stuff. Still, im crazy about her and think about her every day. I love her so much..
Now, just to tell you why i did that break up thing? here's the story and i hope i can make this concise. Just a few months ago, she accepted a job abroad. and she comes home every month and JUST stays here for a WEEK but sometimes it would take her 2months before she can come home and with that week, i can only see her 3 times with just 4-5hours at most. Now, like every other long-distance rel, we ended up having fights and finally, i broke up with her. But then after that, when she comes home, we still kinda do that date thing and all. Like friends with benefits as what others call it.

We had heavy winds last night. The wind blew down a small section of our backyard fence by the gate. I noticed it was like that this morning and all our bikes were still there, but this afternoon one of our bikes we already missing. We live in a decent neighborhood with only a few undesirable neghbors. Not on a busy street either.
What makes a person think that just because a piece of fence fell down, they can take stuff out of our yard ?

I have noticed that around the world,even in the USA that poor,uneducated people have a lot of children more than they can support,do these people have any common sense?Don't they know they're creating problems that a lot of these kids will have have a hard life,be unable to go to college,why don't poor people use birth control?Is it that when poor people are in the heat of the moment common sense just goes out the window?Your opinion?

you all probably didn't even know i wasn't around because i haven't been online for very long. i just wanted to let you know that i have missed talking with all of you and hope you can give me some advice. i have been diagnosed with oral cancer and it has gone beserk in the last 2 months. has anyone been through this or knows someone that has? i know i should go on a different catagory but i prefer to talk with people my own age. don't mean to be a downer, just could use a friend
