What happens is, we see the truth. It is not a day that go by that one of them don't come running to me telling me what somebody did. They watch people so they can tell on them. They are nosy and lie. If I never had another white woman working for me, it would be fine with me. Every other day they are crying about something. Somebody lied to them and told them that every black man wants a she white. Had one to tell me, that she would take me from my wife if I wasn't her boss. As beautiful as my wife is, she thought I would think about leaving a coke bottle for a pole.A sista works her way up. A white gal tries to sleep their way up. They bend over in your face and come in the office with their pale breasts hanging out. They show no respect for themselves. You can't say anything to them because they cry for half the day. When you move up, it is more of them there. Ones that never deserved the position and don't know what the hell they are doing. They mess up, and blame everybody else for it. They never take responsibility. They have to know everything going on. They are a hot mess.

I am a professional black and I don't dislike anyone by race. What I do dislike is nosy backstabbing ppl and I have found that in every race and in every socioeconomic class. Your statement is really general saying that “all professional blacks” are like this, we all are not. I personally believe that you attract what you are. If you are attracting backstabbers it’s probably because you are a backstabber and instead of doing the stabbing they got stabbed. In companies I have worked for (IBM, Solomon Smith Barney, etc.) it is cutthroat to begin with and a lot of black people go to work thinking that they are going to make friends their, work is just that work, Your co-workers are also you competition and you need to realize that. Like I said, it’s competitive the same promotion that you are going after so is Sam, Hakeem, Mary & Laquana and you don’t put your business or moves that you are making out their if you don’t want to be backstabbed. Many black ppl buy into that “the company is just like a family b.s.” thus getting themselves into more trouble than the job they have is worth. I am not bitter, I have been in Corporate America for 12yrs, I have learned to come to work be cordial do my job, if I apply for a higher position, I tell NO ONE, trust me the same black ppl will try and stab you in the back just as quickly as whites or any other race if not quicker. The key to getting along in Corporate America is not telling your business to the office, staying on point and doing YOUR job and keeping you mouth shut, something many blacks have a hard time doing.

I think that when you are educated you feel that other educated people will think and act accordingly. However, when you are in a setting as your relatives you realize that even education does not help some people who will always be ignorant. I felt that way in a lot of my college classes. I always expect more out of educated people but they ask and do stupid things regarding to race just like uneducated people. I know exactly how they feel but I try to let the good people from all races over shadow the bad people regardless of their race.

this is really sad, when will everyone learn to erase the lines, to stop seeing everyone in colors. we are one race, the human race, all brothers and sisters. i love every color, if we were all the same, it would be a really dull world. God enjoys the variety of people, differing colors and sizes, personalities. i am white and i have a black brother in law and black niece and nephew and i love them just as much as any other member of my family. they could never be replaced. they are absolutly awesome. and i wouldn't have it any other way, and we all get along just fine, there is never any animosity among us, we are family and thats the way it is, and i will defend them to no end. and if i wound up with some other race as a part of my family one day, then that would be fine too. i wish that your cousins could understand that color doesn't determine friendship and family bonds, it's the individual itself. God bless.

I'm sure the white people say they hate working with the black people too. It's just a sad ignorant part of our society.

I think everyone gets irritated with co workers regardless of their color. This sounds more like a class issue than a racial one. And tell you family to get their azz's back to work and maybe they wouldn't notice how irritating everyone else is.

Why would you write such a racially loaded question? They don't have disdain for white people they are frustrated by the condescending way they are treated and the glass ceiling they are encountering.

Maybe the professional blacks realize that the whites had an easier time getting to the top...while they had to struggle in order to have the same position
