Birth control costs money these people don't have.
Also, it's cultural to have as many kids "as God sees fit to give you". Contraception is considered a sin.
Welfare.
The more kids you have, the more money/benefits you get. When I was in highschool, girls were getting pregnant instead of getting jobs.

Well, I mean this question sounds really bad...like racist if it were about color. I mean maybe it's because their human and their horny just like any other rich or middle class person. But I know there are a few poor people that have children around 5+ and one or two of those children are smart and are the ones that have gone to college and have really good jobs now they work for like Toyota but in very important and highly paid positions...they bought their parents a new house and help their sisters and brothers financially as well. I don't think it has anything to do with being poor ...some people are rich and stupid and they still have a lot of children when they should not be reproducing. It kinda makes it sound like rich, uneducated people should have children or it's ok for them. I don't think they go into having sex thinking lets have children....they just want to express their love for one another and s*hit happens. Their poor I doubt they can buy condoms and birth control ...a lot don't even have clinics to go to. I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD STOP HAVING SO MANY KIDS....be it rich, poor or middle class. Why do people need so many kids period. Like all those TLC shows with 13 kids or a dozen kids...why not adopt kids that are already needing homes instead of making more and over populating the world...I see it that way but not a poor rich thing.

Uneducated people have many children because they are uninformed about family planning and all that birth control stuff. Most of these people don't even know that sex is the method of procreation. These people most of the time think that having more children means more blessings from their god. If they were given an education, they would practice family planning and birth control. I just feel bad for these people since it's not their fault that they are uneducated.

Maybe because they cant afford to go out and have to much time on their hands. Also the uneducated part. If they actually thought about their actions they would probably not be poor as they would find a career path and stick to it. So it comes down to not thinking about the consequences of their actions and maybe also they feel like having more children gives them a higher status. Whatever the reason I totally agree and it is a self-perpetuating problem as their children continue in the same cycle of behavior.

Well to some extreme they might not be able to afford birth control. This country still has the old ways of making it very hard for people to get birth control. Some (most) insurance companies will not pay for it (even though they usually pay for 90% of maternity). They also have gotten to a stage where they don't care. People will reach this stage when their lifes become nothing but working to pay bills and to not get anywhere. Children maybe the only thing that could bring them happiness

Maybe because they can't afford birth control pills or condoms. But even if they don't have enough money and get pregnant, what are they going to do? Abort the baby [they don't have enough money for that]. I think that having a child shouldn't be limited to people who are well off or are rich and snobby, having a baby should be entitled to everyone. They wouldn't be creating problems if they let someone else adopt the kid, would they? Because some people have medical problems and can't have babies and this might be the solution.
I know, my answer is confusing........

Maybe the can't afford to buy any contraceptives. Also, if they are uneducated then maybe they never had sex education and don't realise the strain it puts onto the state etc.
In my opinion i think its not a good thing to bring more children into the world than you can afford to keep in good health and provide for them. Then again i doubt there is going to be a law enforced where you are only allowed to have a certain number of children.

Maybe most of them cant get a ride to the fee Health Clinics, to poor to buy condoms. Or maybe if they have enough, one of them will be smart enough to go to college on a scholarship and help support the parents, and the rest of the sibalings. Maybe to help with the house choirs and take care of the other children while Mom and Dad go to work and work all day to just get enough to feed, cloth, and keep a ruff over everyone head. Who knows.

simple the nearest planned parenthood is about 10 thousand miles away also they belong to religions that teach that birth control is wrong and a sin and an obomination as long as a church controls their glands they cannot escape poverty and ignorance , if food is top of the list for the day then shelter then sex is last but the first three cant allow the money for condoms and so on

Better educated people are more likely to practice birth control and to try to control family size to stay within a budget. Also, many poor people consider a lot of children to be a hedge against childhood illness and death.
And, welfare programs historically have rewarded larger families with more benefits.
Although families would be hard pressed to make money doing this, many don't see it that way.

Unfortunately, when people are poor and uneducated, the long term picture is not as pressing as everday pressures i.e. food, rent.
If you are poor, contraceptives are going to be a bigger chunk of your wallet when you have so littel already.
Plus, if you have trouble with food, rent etc... college is a dream for too many.
