Dollar Tree, mostly.
Chrismas Eve I needed some groceries but the parking lot at the grocery store I go to was jampacked and spilling down the streets all directions. So I went to Dollar Tree and got a few things where everything is a dollar.
I'd never been in there before, but it's going to be a regular stop for me from now on.

I did almost all of mine on Amazon. I had sold my used textbooks through them in August and so I had a $250 gift certificate and since I am a Prime member I get free shipping on everything. So I was able to have presents sent directly to my family that is not near and the rest came directly to my house. It was great and the prices were competitive and I didn't have to fight any crowds! I will do it again next year.

online from the closest possible merchants
Small town, but if I were still in a big city, I still wouldn't have gone to a mall. They're character-less places.

I supported mostly our local merchants. Antique stores and locally owned marts as well as boutiques throughout the year so there was no last minute running around to an over priced mall.

Mainly on line. I loved it - no crowds, I could shop around in comfort, and the prices were great. Quick delivery, too. I'll do it like that every year now.

linen and things... we purchased new bedding sets for all the young ones! The whole shebang... bed skirts, quilts, shams, curtains, throw pillows... it's so nice to have a change of look for a room. All very nice... we got the cotton throw...
it was all on line... never left the house!
