I remember these -If you tell what you had just dreamt, before you ate breakfast it would come true( uusally that applied to nightmares) and don't tell a wish you make with your birthday candles or it won't come true.

We have bought 6 items, nothing too expensive but, because the account is in my name everything arrives addressed to me! My Partner gives me the money to pay for his purchases but because every parcel is plain wrapped and ALL addressed to me, we haven't got a clue what is in each one.
We have not opened any parcels yet so that we can wrap them up for each other because, we don't know what's in them!
We have decided to wrap them all, put them under the tree and hope for the best on Christmas Day.
If I get a set of spanners and he gets a Rampant Rabbit! So Beit!

I am not in a relationship and honestly, don't have time for one but I do miss the affection like hugs, someone to hold your hand, or cuddle and watch a movie. Do any of you feel like that?
I spend time with my little niece and a child that I am big sister to once a week and get a couple hugs and that seems to help but they say in order to be really healthy you should get at least 11 hugs a day!lol! Well I would settle for less than that but really do you ever feel this way.

I live in England and came across this man this week.Since the first email, I have been bombarded by by emails & messages. The last message received on Friday 21/12 was asking me to travel to Ghana to pay fees on luggage.
Of course I declined then immediately started looking for ways of reporting this man who was registered with www.datingdirect.com. He has since removed his profile.
It is an insult to the Colonel and his wife and family and I'm only sorry I didnt spot the scam earlier.

I asked a question earlier about a senior exchange program of residences for vacation purposes. I joking mentioned I wasn't talking about exchanging Grandma.

Well, now I am. Maybe Grandma needs to get away, too.

I was born to a white mother and a black father. I have always identified with the Afro-Caribbean side of my ethnicity despite growing up in a white environment with many white friends and my white mother, and would describe myself as a young, light skinned black man. This is due me being seen as black (and different) by whites.

However, since moving to a black area, I've realised that I'm not really accepted by blacks either. I'm constantly at the end of racial jokes by my black friends.

My point is, while mixed race people suffer from the same things black people do, the fact that blacks regard them as different means that they have no sense of belonging to turn to. Personally, I hate being mixed race and wish I was one colour. What do you guys think?

I would. I watch Flip This House on T.V all the time. I think it would be fun and a great creative outlet and hopefully a money maker. Sometimes they have and update on a ''flip'' and we see that the flippers have not made as much money as they thought they would. Still I would like to do it.

I did go to college and have a BA. I have several friends who have Master's in one area or the other and because of this they put on airs. Like when you are in conversation with them they try to make people feel less worthy because they have a Master's. And will say well I have a Master's in whatever so of course I know what I am talking about. I always come back with yea but why you were in school I was getting a Master's in life and living. I am sometimes embrassed by the things they say in public because they are not being nice and are putting people down. What should I say to them to stop this?
