Who else has been the victim or near victim of this scam by a man pretending to be Colonel Bartch.?

I live in England and came across this man this week.Since the first email, I have been bombarded by by emails & messages. The last message received on Friday 21/12 was asking me to travel to Ghana to pay fees on luggage.
Of course I declined then immediately started looking for ways of reporting this man who was registered with www.datingdirect.com. He has since removed his profile.
It is an insult to the Colonel and his wife and family and I'm only sorry I didnt spot the scam earlier.

he is bouncing all over the place there was reports on him in the finanical section a few days ago!!!!
