and still look pristine. I read most books before I send them to my daughter. She expects it. She knows when I send her a book I'm sharing a friend with her.
My husband was appalled when UPS brought a Jeffrey Deaver book. He ask if it was his sister and I replied yes. He told me to wrap it before it got damaged. Ha! But then again now I'm feeling a tad guilty about sending her a used book. Even lightly used sounds like buying a new car but it has several hundred miles on it.
I know in the scheme of things if this is my biggest dilemma of the holidays then I'm a fool for letting this bother me too much.
I guess I could always get the book at the library. But then again I can have it read by the time I need to wrap it and give it to her. Hmm, I think I'll go thumb through it while I wait to take a vote on how many of you think I'm tacky.

My dad would kill me if he knew I was gay... my moms ok with it n everything but everyone else (even teachers n school counslers) make me feel like I'm bad for it.
But I tried dating girls n I didn't like it n it's not like I can change the way I am right?

I'm so sick of this constant deceit. My dad suspects and keeps trying to turn me straight, and I'd rather just have to go live with a friend for a while than put up with any more of this crap.

Why is it that so many of them want to get HUGE? It's like, goddamn, when is enough enough?

one from scratch you know . Like you perfected it and not pasted from some website.

You see my hunnies is always talking about how great his Grandmas divinity was and how she'd alway make him some for Christmas. Well, we tried to buy it everywhere and he is just not impressed with any store bought divinity .

It would mean the world to me if maybe I could surprise him with homemade divinity .

I have decided that anyone who blocks first, deserves the same in return. Something is strange & I think the past is attempting to repeat itself. I won't play this time around.

I taped m-80's to my cousins Barbies and sat them in Barbies dream plane or some other pink plane thing she used to play with, lit the fuse, and pushed the plane onto the end of their diving board over the pool. MAN what a BOOM that was. Of course my cousin was traumatized and I was grounded for life.

My Christmas just got so much better. But,,,it brought a problem. Family services just showed up with 3 children that we will have during the holidays. !6 year old girl, my grand daughter will share DVDs CDs, make -up ETC. 3 year old girl, I can handle that. But a nine year old boy...there hasn't been a boy in our house for years. I was thinking about match box cars, a game, books, but what is something special that boys that age like? Help...

Can you wrap Christmas gifts to make them look beautiful ? Or like me does your athritis make it too hard to do so anymore?
Now when I wrap gifts myself they look like they were wrapped by a three year old.

My dad could wrap gifts without using tape, glue etc, just by folding the paper and tucking it in.
