I thank God for "spell check"......I actually typed an email one day, and hit spell check, and it said "no misspellings", and I felt like I had won the Nobel Prize.......I not only transpose, I sometimes hit the "a", and get five of them....The left "pinky" just doesn't release as quick anymore.........

I have problems with because, it comes out becasue...consistanly. Other words I transpose too, or extra letters show up for some reason. Of course, I usually have a chihuahua or a pug on my lap and a cat behind the monitor. They seems to think I need help typing.....and will stand on the keyboard.

Sometims. I am a pretty good typist but sometimes I just type too fast and letters get ahead of each other. My worst thing is to type the same letter twice or leave letters out. I have arthritis in my fingers but that doesn't seem to slow me down much.
I don't look at the keyboard while I am typing, I look at the screen. That is the way I was taught to type when I first learned in highschool, to look at what I was typing instead of my fingers. Works for me.

It's funny that you say this... when you probably noticed that there's a spell check option at the top of the box you entered your text into. I try not to rely to heavily on spell check, however. I find that the more that I let my spelling knowledge become consumed by the automatic spell check option, the less I'll be able to answer correctly when people ask me how to spell words. It's not like I can say "hold on, let me go check on spell check." I mean, I could, but that would be pretty lame.

I do it all the time. Sometimes I leave out entire words. I'm sure we just think faster than we type. I have to read mine back so carefully before I submit and then still can find an error. Now I have to click modify and fix it again. Thank God for spell check, I can't spell either.

Rush typing. I used to quickly fix it and apologize. Now I look at the word with transposed letters and say, "oh well, they can still read it."

I am not a very good typist anyway and I make mistakes all the time. I try to check spelling. At least we care. I hate it when people don't even try to make sure they have their words spelled correctly and don't want to know if they are right or wrong.

Oh yes, my left hand types faster than my right hand....and so I'll get things like "teh" instead of "the".
The other silly thing I've done, when typing quickly, is to lift my fingers a bit, and then move over a key. So, I'll get things like "rhw" or "tje" or even worse "tej" or "rwh" instead of "the". It just isn't always easy to keep my brain and fingers functioning in sync...;)

ALL THE TIME......numbers too. I called it dyslectic fingers. LOL I mean I watch my hands hit the wrong key when I'm thinking the right thing. Must be a short in the system. Should have seen me yesterday trying to balance the checkbook. LOL

I take the 'cheap' way out and blame it on the keyboard..between misspelling and transposing , I know it's really the machines fault. Getting back to the question...OH, NEVER MIND !
