I don't believe I have ever seen this one. Could you tell me a little bit about it..please? I may want to go rent it.

I think this is a fun movie. It's sweet, but not too sweet. David Niven is a perfect foil to Cary Grant in this one. Loretta Young is believable as a good wife whom an angel could fall for. I watch it every year.

I caught it on TV on Turner Classics last weekend. I had never seen it either and it was GREAT...Stars Cary Grant as an Angel; David Niven as the Bishop and Loretta Young as his wife....it's the original movie from which the Preacher's Wife with Denzel Washington was made

I m watching it right now. It must be the 10th time I ve seen it. Each time is like the first. A great movie with a great actor and actress. And yes Mr Grant had a stand in for some of the ice skating scenes in the movie.

Denzel Washingtons movie The Preachers Wife is a modern remake. The original with Cary Grant is beautiful. I adore Denzel but there is such an era difference in the two movies it is not like watching the same thing. By all means I would suggest renting it. It is lovely!!!

I have seen this movie more times than I can count. By all means rent it. It's wonderful. Gary Grant plays an angel. David Niven is a minister more concerned with building a huge church and neglecting his wife played by Loretta Young. I won't say anymore. I wouldn't want to spoil it for you. A great Christmas movie!!!

It is a great old black and white movie. Everything about it is entertaining, especially the outdoor ice skating scene where Cary Grant and Loretta Young skate like professionals. Jimmy Gleason as the cab driver gets in on this skating, also. Rent it, by all means.

Yes, it is a wonderful movie. I think there was a remake but can't think who stared in it. Anyway, Grant is a angel helps the wife get closer to her husband the bishop. Sounds dumb, but a fun comedy. Grant is one of my favorite actors.

Actually I have never seen this movie. Maybe some day I will rent it and watch it on my DVD player, and then I can give a more informed opinion of this movie.

It's lovely. I just watched it last weekend when it was on AMC. Aside from the strange questions about angels and mortals, the skating scene is so fun. There are some great characters in this film. It's a great holiday film of its time. Enjoy!

That is one of my favorite Christmas movies! A wonderful story and Cary Grant is great as usual. I highly recommend it.
