If you mean these:
http://www.glistenconfectionery.com/cake_silver.htm
they're called silver dragées, and can usually be found in grocery stores/supermarkets together with colored sugars, sprinkles, cake decorations, vanilla, etc. We have them over here, too -- I just bought a couple of packets yesterday.
If you can't find them in your local grocery stores (maybe they've run out of them?), maybe you could ask at a local bakery. eBay has them, but how long would it take you to complete the process and then receive them, with the postal service over the holidays?

Called Silver Dragees, I got mine at a shop where they sell cake and candy making supplies.
A few years ago, there were some moon and star shaped cookies in the Martha Stewart Christmas magazine. I made them, they were covered with dragees. Elegant!

I see that some have been telling you that they've found some.
I haven't seen these on store shelves anywhere for many years. I assumed that maybe they'd discontinued making them. Like, maybe they had an ingredient that isn't good for you.
I used to like to add those to my tree shaped sugar cookies and things. I miss them.

I know I've seen them in the bakery section of Von's. Don't you have on in Riverside? AAMOF, I think I have some in my pantry with all my baking stuff. I didn't think they were that hard to find. I didn't make any "Sprinkly" cookies this year.
Couldn't see your Youtube or MySpace... Blocked here at work. ;+( Below is my Christmas card.
GOOD luck. ;+)

I just saw some at a party supply place in my town. We were in there getting some streamers to put up for the kids' Christmas party at work, and I was amazed at all the cake decorations they had.

Wow, thanks for the memory! I remember them too, but truthfully, I don't remember seeing them lately. You might do a "search" on the internet for them. Or try a craft store, I saw all sorts of neat things at A.C. Moore last night for baking.

Any restaurant supply store, cooking stores in the mall, and most grocery stores on the baking aisle near the cans of frosting.
