Thanks for letting me get my 2 cents worth in. I boycotted the Gap many months ago...after they destroyed the clothing that the underage illegal workers took the time to make & did little or nothing to compensate those families they had a hand in exploiting! The gap is widening & the ads are helping to take them down where they belong...on the bottom of the cutting room floor!

I don't think GAP authorized this piece of trash. It goes beyond reinforcing a positive image ,which is the goal of most ad campaigns .What kind of global corporate manager would kill his own career ? I think someone is testing market shares ,reaction to ad to see how many people are being reached. It could also be that their competetion ( youth clothing manufacturers) scammed this despite the cost of the impending lawsuit. If that's the case we'll get to see it on the news.Do you see where i'm going with this ?I thought so !

Oh, like I told Wickwire last night when he asked about it, the first time I heard it ( and since I live alone) I nearly jumped out of my pants. I didn't figure it out for a few seconds and I kept
looking around like an idiot. I just turned my speakers off for now. Merry Christmas Slk.

The first time I heard it, I was wondering where it was coming from. After 3 times I happened to catch a bit of movement and finally figured it out. Now, my speakers are OFF. GAP....gag, overpriced, poor quality crap made by foreigners under slave conditions for pennies and Americans fork out good money for it. Stupid is as stupid does.
My nephew is a manager for one up on PA.

I just muted the sound on my computer. I don't have speakers at home so I didn't notice it til recently. Now I know what everyone is talking about. I hate listening to commercials when I'm on hold on the telephone too. I refuse to be a "captive audience"!

Definitely Smack Down time. It makes me want to not only boycott them but every magazine and media outlet that has a Gap ad.

I'm in, where's the end of the line? HOLY COW! There's a lot of people in this line.

I like what Sugarbab said: "This is the most annoying ad ever! My speakers are off and may never be turned on again! This little ad campaign has backfired!"

First time, I wondered where the he** VOICES were coming from. Didn't even listen to what they were saying, just resented Yahoo selling out to Gap like that. Still bugs me. Still happening.

My sentiments, exactly! Silly me. I forgot that I can mute. I asked this very same question this morning. I can't believe they are still on! Someone said to put up with it because these ads pay the Yahoo bills. Can you imagine!

Yes, I turned my speakers down as soon as I got home from work this morning. I didn't like Gap, but this just confirms my opinion.
