Can you wrap Christmas gifts to make them look beautiful ? Or like me does your athritis make it too hard to do so anymore?
Now when I wrap gifts myself they look like they were wrapped by a three year old.

My dad could wrap gifts without using tape, glue etc, just by folding the paper and tucking it in.

I can wrap beautifully. Can even match up the prints. Haven't been able to do it without tape like your dad but I'm not too shabby. I wrapped gifts alot for jobs I've had. Wrapped a table saw once. It takes the right accessories and alot of space......not easy sitting crosslegged on a bed with people screaming wanting in, the scissors stuck somewhere and the cheap tape dispenser falling apart.

When I was a teen, to make Christmas money, I worked in the gift wrapping department of a large chain store. I was better then, than now. Maybe I wrapped too many gifts, personally if I could, I would opt for the bag it came in and a bow, LOL

I can still wrap nicely and artistically when I want to, but I have gotten lazy since the days of pretty gift boxes and bags and pretty tissue paper. I only wrap nicely when I want to make a real presentation of a gift. Like for a wedding.

I cant wrap anymore and I have noticed a lot of stores have stopped offering the gift wrapping here in this area. I just but the pretty Christmas bags and tissue. You can swirl the tissue and crinkle it and leave it sticking out the top and it makes a pretty package. Then tape the top and your done.

I do alright but it comes with years of practice. My daughter buys gift bags and boxes. I tell her the wrapping cost more than the presents that way. I need to go wrap some more right now !!!! lol

I try to wrap my presents well. When there is absolutely no way that I can make the gift presentable I put it in a bag. They can get expensive but buy plain ones and decorate them yourself. It also make the gift a little more special.

I too have the arthritis in my hands. I have taught the 11 year old how to wrap for me and he is getting better. All the grandkids don't care if they are neatly wrapped. Just so long as they get them they are happy. My son is a proud uncle.

White people can not rap. Why do people go on and on about rap at Christmas? Should we not just listen to Christmas music? I mean, come on now, it is the reason for the season, right? What gives...... What?

You meant the other type of wrap? Never mind

I can wrap pretty good, but I have to use tape. My Mom always did the tuck method.I actually enjoy wrapping presents. Bring your presents to my house, and I will wrap them for you while we chat.
