Many seniors are on restricted diets & low fat is so boring. I was wondering if any of you just throw caution to the wind & eat the "bad" foods anyway, then keep your fingers crossed trhat your heart will hold out until you can digest it! Serious! Do you?

I indulge but not overeat. To me this is one way to enjoy life. So, go ahead too. We only have a short life to live anyway.Eat a little, you die, eat too much you die and eat moderately you die anyway. Your choice!

Since this season only rolls around once a year, heck I m going to enjoy every single morsel of food from the "forbidden" list. I will go back after the 1st of the year. Come on ?, lets have some FUN. Besides, I want to be happy this season, Last year I was in a hotel room in DC alone and working! I would like to see the cause of death on the certificate for reason of death...."she cookied her self to death"

I have a bag of licorice allsorts beside my computer. And JUST TODAY I picked up all of the fixings for the two cheesecakes I am baking for Christmas...Deluxe (which mean high) vanilla cheese cake on graham cracker crust that will be topped with strawberries, and a chocolate mint cheesecake on chocolate cookie crumb crust.

I sure hope I have enough room after turkey and sausage and bacon bread stuffing and mashed potatoes and mashed rutabaga and salad with everything...all topped with mushroom gravy. To HECK with dietary restrictions! To HECK with gall stones!!
