or accommodations for your disability? & then they call your request for necessary accommodations INVALID excuses? That really hurts my feelings. I think that's prejudice. That's like trying to force a paralyzed person to walk & when they say they can't, people say they're making excuses. Same goes for mental illness. If you can't concentrate on a test & fail because of depression, people just call you lazy, but you're not.

I live in an area that is rapidly starting to resemble the dusty back streets of India.
On the road where I live there are already 3 Mosques and now the Indian community are in uproar because the council have stopped planning permission for a 4th!
Does anyone else think this is a down right cheek?
Where was the last street you saw that had 3 churches?

The reason i ask this question is because it depends on who you are talking to. I dont believe that America should be the poster child of civlization. Having the latest technology and human "free" rights does not account for civilization. How can we be the most civilized when when we have politicians in office like Mr. Craig, have the best healthcare system and people are dying unecessarily because they cant afford a Rx med, kids no longer think of the traditional family as having a mother and father, but having 2 daddy and 2 mothers is accepted. Our men are dying in foreign counntries in record numbers for no apparent reason; I truly question the civilzation of this place we call America. Lets look at other countries, even though poor; most of these countries dont have same sex households, morrally they value the family structure and their kids respect the mother and father and the extended family is considered just as important. These poorer countries realize what matters.

It's not in my 1976 College Dictionary even though "homophile" is. What's more it seems to violate the convention for using Greek. It should mean "fear of things similar"
Online dictionaries all define it as "an extreme or irrational aversion to homosexuality or homosexuals." If we are to accept this definition, exactly when does my aversion to homosexuality become extreme?

I was caught speeding two years ago. It was a beautiful day, the highway went from one lane in each direction down a winding mountain road to a big, wide divided highway and I was just tooling along, paying no attention to how fast I was going until that blue light showed up in my rear-view mirror.

Since then, I use cruise control on that particular stretch of highway, which I travel several times a year.

My fiance tells me nonstop that (basically) Jew's are the best people to ever live. "They're the chosen one's".. they invented more "important stuff".. they are more charitable than any other people.. they are "smarter and have more money".

I've been with her for 3 years, but all of her family and friends give me this vibe. It seems to also be a stereotype to an extent.

I love her to death, but what is this about? Have you ever noticed this?
