I mean, it hurts people. Why? Why? Why? Why practice this ritual? It states here, "Yeah hazing is emotionally loaded; it is a very emotionally loaded word. We still do it, and I hope we always do it."

Is it still emotionally loaded when someone dies from hazing???!!! Would that certain frat be accountable to such incident? I mean does it necessarily require to attain endurance and strength from hazing to become a frat member? Not all frat members go into physical combat, right? What's the big deal? Isn't it that Fraternity is all about BROTHERHOOD? What's with hazing? I just HATE the concept.

To all those who practice hazing...pls JUSTIFY your answers.

At the village shop this morning the following conversation:

"I think Mr. W. had the wrong newspaper delivered this morning"
"Telephone him and ask then"
"No - we are not allowed to do that"
"why?
"Because he might think that we are questioning his political leanings!"

Absolutely true!
Has the world gone mad?
If somebody rang me to ask if I had received the desired newspaper this morning - I don't know that the first thought that would cross my mind would be - "are these people trying to find out how I voted four years ago!"

A friend of mine asked the chap in the garden centre if a water feature that she had her eye on was very expensive. His reply was "I would rather not comment madam as my answer may offend your financial standing" ???

What in the name of all that is good and holy is going on?

PLEASE - I WILL NOT BE OFFENDED - JUST GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER!

Or if I am offended I shall walk out of your shop - and slam the door!

I am having a ball on YA with my 'secret life'! - but I know that it is causing confusion for folk just 'tuning in' - to the point that some of them are getting quite cross - and with reason I guess.

Perhaps I should not take so much for granted in thinking that EVERYONE is IN ON IT - I would like to apologise but the people that I want to apologise to don't know what the hell I am talking about even now!

Whatever happened in or around the hen hoouse over the weekend - and we will talk of it no more - has given Hetti and Girls a new lease of life!

The Brave and HONOURABLE McTeal is proved himsel' ta be a man of his word and his post was never abandoned fer mare then the shortest time - yon George Bush calls them COMFORT BREAKS I ken - so there was never any danger to the chooks.

Whether or not you bonnie Aussie lass Jilly of the Jiggling Jugs Inn was ever in any danger is another thing! We can only pray that the lass can handle a man of the calibre of the Majestic McTealc!

Looking back into both their histories I see they are both hailing frame the same clan - Fergusson - so the same honourable blood runs in them - we will say no more - the Fergusson are known to be FIERCE - WILD FIERCE!

My ONLY friend of 4 yrs. is bisexual. I'm heterosexual. Most guys don't like me, & people think I should never have kids because they think I'm too retarded & can't take good care of a kid. I'm a nice person, but my social interactions with people aren't that great. Since people feel like I shouldn't have kids & because she can't have kids because of fertility problems, she thinks we should become closer than friends & date, but I don't like that idea. It does seem like she's the only one who cares about me & we get along great. Sometimes she jokingly touches me or tries to kiss me, & I don't feel comfy with that. It seems like I'm so ugly I'll never find a boyfriend, & too many people played with my mind & hurt me. I always fantasize about my friend being a guy. & I tell her all the time how I wish she was a guy b/c she'd be the PERFECT MAN for me because of looks & personality. She probably wouldn't do this but I'm afraid that if I don't give in & date her, she'll dump my friendship.

There was a time when it could be said that hip-hop was the only voice Black people had. But its just rap now. And what is rap really saying. The message I hear is basically something like this:

"Look at me. I sell drugs. I've got a nice car. Lets get high and drunk and have sex"

Most mature cats aint really listen to the message of the songs just bouncin to the beat cause we know they aint talkin about nothin.

But these young kids are absorbing it and I think it is causing them to act obnoxious.
