yeah, i've done it a few times
whenever i tell people, they often think its something to do with the mind moving the pointer thing
but ive done it with lots of different people(including a family members and a very close friend) and i trust them all, it worked everytime
we did a few tests aswell to prove it, which i wont go on about

one time i spoke to a man called william, another was called guy, and the few others didnt tell names, or we didnt ask, i cant remember

i now know that these things are EVIL. if your thinking about using one, its a pretty cool experience, but personally id never do it again. im only 17 now and when i owned one i was about 14/15 and very naive!

experiences include:
once i was doing it with my close friend and it was a nasty spirit (we think) and we wanted to stop talking to it cos it was saying horrible stuff. so we said "can we leave now?" (because incase you dont know, its not a good idea to leave without there permission) and it said "no". so we asked again, it said "no". we got very scared, as one had never said no before! and then i got a weird/cold/hurtful pain in my figertips that i was using to hold the pointer thing. we asked "are you hurting becky on purpose??" and it said "yes" this really freaked us out and my mate let go and rn off, jumping clean over a table(small one) she didnt hit the table at all, but said something on her leg reealy hurt just when she did. she looked under her jeans and there was a big cut. even if she had hit the table, it would have bruised her, not cut her. we think it was something to do with the spirit. my fingers stopped hurting when he finally let me go. that was not fun!

i did another ouija board on my birthday. a group of us did it in my lounge. i dont remember her name but the spirit turned on the tv to the show 'lizze macguire' and said she liked it. freeaky!

theres a couple more things to say but i have to go to school. you can mail me if your interested in hearing more stuff but i have rambling on a bit so thats fine if you dont! =)

I didn't commune with the dead, but several years ago I participated in playing this game, and the table started shakihng and doing weird stuff. That was the last time I used a Ouija board.

An old friend told me a really good one.
She was living out in the country in an old house with her Dad and Step Mom. And her step Mom the atheist got out the game. They played it for a while and finally it started to move around fast. her Dad wrote down the letters. And it was an man who was from the 1800's and he was cussing and talking about his gold and the woman that stole it. She said he spelled bad and he talked in details. totally freaked her out and later that night she woke up and felt someones hand pressing on her back. she said she was so scared she could not scream. Then she ran and got in bed with her parents. she was 16 years old and she was the most honest person I knew at the time. I later asked her the story again years later and it did not change.

I actually had a friend who was a psychic and she and I used to use a ouija board and really make the pointer fly. Dont know who we talked to or if they were indeed telling the truth but it really surprised me that it worked.

It is a piece of wood with writing on it.

Nothing more - nothing less.

All those people warning you not to do it are feeding your fantasy that something will happen.

Look at it. IT IS A PIECE OF WOOD WITH WRITING ON IT!!

Why would any spirit need such a piece of equipment - Lord save us - if they can move a pointer on a piece of plank - surely to goodness they can pick up a pen and write you a letter!

IT IS ALL NONSENSE!

If it was anywhere near a genuine experience - why must it be done in the near dark with fools scared to death - BRING IT OUT INTO THE DAY LIGHT AND PLAY WITH IT - or does that make it a little less spooky!

PLEASE - if you are a grown up - put away the toys and pick up a life!!!

I'm afraid the extent of my experiences with it were at slumber parties and there was a lot of arguing over whether or not so and so was moving the pointer deliberately.

1. You shouldn't use that because it creates a portal and you cannot control who or what comes in.

2. That being said, you cannot trust what comes as a "message" because it's just like opening your window and kinda screaming for someone nearby to hear you.

3. Live.

I threw mine out with the trash when I was in the seventh grade, it frightened me so!! It is real, I "played" it enough with various people that I KNOW it was real. The spirits were different, they would sometimes tell you their names, ages when they died, what they died from, and spooky revelations about yourself.

yes.
my friend and I played with it at his house about a year ago, we communicated with a man named HU (Asian name perhaps?) and we asked him if he was Asian and then the phone rang, my Friend answered and there was no one on the line. we went back to the board and asked "if that was you HU call again." and he did.

I think you're smart enough to know it's all a hoax. It's all about mind over matter. You can't communicate with the dead.
