Jees, I am not sure. I think as I write this, at this very same moment the President of Iran, the short little bastard who is a disgrace to the entire human race, actually is speaking on the grounds of our great Columbia University (How ridiculous is that!). Why don't we just ask him what they do to gay people in his great republic, shall we?

No Iran is totally against gays. I heard you get killed for it. So don't even try to risk it. Don't even write letters to the Iran goverment about gay rights. You could make a support group protesting Anti-gays in Iran here.

Unfortunately no, it's not safe to be openly gay there. I believe Iran is actually one of the countries where you can be killed for being gay.
Sad sad world it still is.

Guys have it easy in Iran, if you are gay, they hang you, a quick and relatively painless death. Women on the other hand hold a lower station under islamic law. Lesbians are stoned to death in Iran. Isn't that just insane!

It's not safe, a person can be executed for being gay. The only way out is to claim to be transgendered, then they can force you to have sex reassignment surgery--which is carelessly done by doctors who cut through human tissue like they're cutting paper. It's awful.
