Brown skin doesn't make you Mexican. You don't have to "look" Mexican. You are Mexican. Don't be sad about it, be proud of it.

Mexicans are already very mixed. Not all Mexicans are dark, many are not. We are mixed with indigenous, spanish, and african blood, so we all look different. I'm only 3/4 Mexican and Im dark with dark hair, my friend is 100% Mexican-American and she has light brown hair and pale skin. So dont worry bout it, its how much Mexican pride you have on the inside that counts anyways!

I'm half Mexican and don't look like it either... I have no problem. Accept the fact that you won't be brown-skinned. At least you can probably speak Spanish easier than most since you have the tongue for it AND you can eat spicy food.

At least with your appearance, you won't have people coming up to you and speaking Spanish to you. I've known a lot of people who have the stereotypical Latino look and they are not Latino themselves. They said the one thing that drove them crazy was having people assume they can speak Spanish because of how they look. I understand people with Spanish last names often have the same problem.

Brown skin doesn't make you Mexican. Be proud of all of your heritage.
P.S.- There are plenty of full-blooded Mexicans with pale skin.

Just be proud of who you are and don't deny that part of you..Many people here in America like to hide their backgrounds just to fit in..and the only person they are lying to is themselves

What's the problem??
Stereotypes... Who told you that a nationality implies a hair color and a skin color?
Don't worry, be happy.
