Rich people can afford to hire people to think for them....they are called employees, consultants or other similar things.

Bottom line is, it comes down to money. A rich person may not think twice about a major purchase, whereas a poor person will have to consider it more carefully. When you have more money, your able to do more things. If one has been rich for a long time, they become accustomed to a certain way of life. So in essence, what a poor person does because they have to a rich person may find odd.

Well, there are too many factors to come up with a single (or even a couple) answers.
Take Oprah Winfrey, for example. She's richer than God himself. She came from extremely poor background, though, so her view of her wealth and her place in life is quite different than that of, say, Paris Hilton, who has had the world handed to her on a platinum platter from the moment she started dirtying her little designer diapers and figures the world should worship her.

rich people can do things on whim. because they don't have to worry about money. (i.e. plan a vacation, buy expensive gifts whenever they want) poor people have to think about everything they plan to do because money is always an issue. because money is always an issue, courage and self confidence can be big issues too.

when you are rich you think more of what you will be able to do when you get the opportunity whereas when you're poor you're forced to think of it in terms of when you might possibly find the funds, if ever.
