because you may not be as active as you once were, do you find that the older you get, the less you want to eat? Does your appetite wane as you age?

My mom is a comfort food eater and she keeps saying she just isn't hungry but only eats because she knows that she should.

How can better awareness be made about Language Disorders?
As a person who is very familiar and has worked first hand with persons with language disorders, it is very apparent that this disability is all but completely unrecognized. For example accommodations can be and are commonly made for a person with a physical disability or even a visual impairment. A person with a language disorder would be perceived as unintelligent, immature, unreliable etc. unless others in their environment are willing and or able to be understanding to the disability. This can be extremely debilitating and destructive to a person's livelihood (e.g. employment, legal matters).

How can we bring more awareness and understanding to this disability?

What I mean is societies where women aren't conditioned to be ashamed of being just as sexual as men are stereotyped to be. Like how promiscuous women or women who have casual sex are looked down on in America or are questioned.

I remember reading about some of these societies in my human sexuality book, but forgot the names and what countries they were located in!

Anyone know?

Oh yeah..all what I remember is the Hill Maria aboriginal tribe in India. Mainstream Indians consider this tribe savage-like, but girls are encouraged to learn about sex, enjoy it and aren't shunned for being non-virgins before marriage.

I loved the football games and I was part of the Pep Squad. Someone go the idea to tear up pages from a telephone book into itty bitty pieces and used them as confetti to throw when we got a touchdown. They also used rolls of toilet paper as streamers. They threw this from the windows. The school staff was not amused. I laughed so hard. lol Good fun.

America is a place where we value the first amendment, should we not be allowed to state our views here on Y/A without someone name calling and getting nasty..even the Y/A moderator. It's great when I hear people say that they are black and proud to be black...I should also be proud to be white..if a black person say's: Our people were treated horrible at the hands of white slave owners...I also have a view that says..TRUE...BUT they were treated far worse in africa where 99% of them were ALREADY slaves by black owners and it's my view their lives improved 100% by coming to America...and certainly their great, great, great grand children are 1000% better of than those left there. IS that RACIST???
WE need to have (As Martin Luther King said) a REAL talk about Race-Relations...it can't be ONE-SIDED! There is a federal law suit in my city to change the way a tax-payer sponsored slave museum is presenting slave history & the owners of slaves...MOST treated them very well!

Can we talk?

Is it acceptable to be fat in the black culture? In the white, asian, and indian cultures, being skinny is highly valued. Theyre ridiculed for having a bit of meat. In the black culture, I've seen many beautiful women, as well as way too many fat (obese) black women with really tight jeans and like really tiny short tight shirts and it seems like they're not embarasses and seem to be happy with themselves.

people in my school thought two people were lesbians, they said they weren't but then i got a text from one of them which was for the other one and it was a bit weird i showed it to some people but it spread, so now they are pissed off with me although people already thought it. I had nothing against them until now as they are 'going to get revenge on me'.

Was i wrong for showing a few people, should i just ignore them now im going to college?

I'm indian but black people treat me like i've oppressed them for years, i have long black hair and darker than white skin, not dark but darker than usual. Is it that anyone that's not 'black' has become a target for black people to claim abuse from? I really didn't do anything to any black people, nor did my ancestors so why do they treat me as such? When i call them on it and say, "I've never done anything to you." they say, "no, but your ancestors did." i get pissed off quite frankly then i say, "No, white people and your people invaded my land and took over it, if my ancestors did anything to you it was out of retaliation and nothing more." Then when i say that i'm indian not white, they get all defensive and try to justify their actions by saying that indians abused blacks too.

I was watching According to Jim yesterday w/ my Grandma (I do it for her lol... I hate that show), and it was an episode about 2 gay guys and Jim. At the end of the epidsode, Jim says "I hope they feel... Whatever gay men feel for eachother." Or something along those lines.

The episode didn't offend me (I don't really get offended). It got me thinking, though; do most straight people realize that gay people actually love eachother when they're in a relationship, or do they just think its about sex?
I'm gay, so I never have really thought about love from a heterosexual point of view, or what they think of homosexuals' emotional love.

If n*a*k*e*d* women don't turn me on and I don't have any intentions of sleeping with a girl I really like, am I bisexual? I generally don't like girls. I don't check girls out. I prefer guys. There is just this one girl that I really like but wouldn't do anything more than just passionately kiss her. What's going on with me? Please, no rude answers. Thanks
