All races and ethnic backgrounds have members who savor victimhood, wallow in it, and try to blame others for their problems. Whites included.

Racism has been around for a long, long time and it will still be around as long as Satan is still kicking. It's not so much that it happened to us but it has left a mark that can't be erased due to the fact that we relive it everyday. The black man has come far at this day and age and so have many whites come far as overcoming prejudice but you have got to walk in the black mans shoes in order to understand. The Ku Klux Klan has not vanished off of the face of the earth yet!

The laws of the land has kind of slowed them down but they are secretly plotting and planning to destroy the black man and any other race that is inferior to them,
and this is a known fact. Because this terrible thing happened to our ancestors, they are still a part of us and somehow we can feel their pain as though we were there. The beatings, the blood sheds and the abuse was so horrible until it still crys out without ending. But many of us blacks don't allow it to affect us so much that we can't love the white man. Once you find Jesus you can overcome anything. Remember this...... as long as the white man won't allow the black man to forget by trying to keep it alive then the black man can't let that thing in the past die. A good example is to take notice of the racist comments below your question. So let's pray for strength and that the black man will honor the fact that we came from kings and queens with much royalty. May God bless you.

That kind of racism isn't happenin' to people but it is still taking place, so one they are speakin' from that and because racism still exists, it shows the same thought process that led to lynchings and everything else is the same that is expressed in different ways. Two, blacks can some degree or another identify with other black people so in some way it affects black people that there was a time that was alright for others to threaten other blacks' very existance.

Talking about racism or historical facts is common to every culture and society whether the act personally affected them or not. Racial inequality in the U.S. has only been dealt with relatively recently. Many of the civil rights generation and before are still alive and active. Their children still hear and feel the affects of what happened. Societal bruises and injustices take along time to heal and get over and it's worse when they still continue in some ways. People can continue to use past injustices to shackle and divide them or they can rise above their circumstances and prevail. That is always easier said than done.

Black people today are systematically discriminated against it is in the fabric of this society and pervades every aspect of our lives, you obviously dont read Black publications or else you would be aware that lynchings are still happening, Im sure you remember the Black man who was dragged to his death behind a car just a couple of years ago, you can google Morris Dees Southern Poverty Law Center and find many, many examples of hate crimes and outright discrimination that todays Black people have endured. Youre in need of education.

Racism still exists, and so does the Klan. Believe me, if you could walk a mile in a black persons shoes, you'd see that. I've never had cancer for example, but that doesn't make me deny it's existence, or dismiss the suffering of those who do have it.
