Umm, I believe it is more acceptable than what it is in other cultures but I don't think it is acceptable in itself. Especially since more information has come out about diabetes, heart and cardiovascular problems due to a lack of physical activity and eating habits.

Well, size and weight issues varies with each culture, some cultures like slender women while other prefer curvy women. Usually, black women tend to be curvy not fat. Being fat(obese) isn't accepted by any culture or race because it is unhealthy. Besides, I see many women who are larger wear tight and small clothing in any race. Being curvy, voluptuous and healthy is desire mostly, not being super skinny or fat.

Not sure, down south maybe. Lots of black guys(and whites) down south like large women. But I don't really think fat looks good, it all depends on the person. I'm not close to being fat or overweight, and I am accepted more everywhere else as the ideal look than I am down south.
People have different preferences, WHITE men also like fat women down south.

its not acceptable in any culture 'cause i dont care who you are if you even an ounce over weight somebody out there is gonna make fun of you about it. yes it does seem like more black men than any others are willing to date bigger women but that doesnt mean that every last one of them is that open to it. basically everyone needs to give us fat people a break. we know we are fat. no need to keep telling us in those ever so pleasent condescending ways like hey maybe if i insult them enough the weight would just fall off wellllll skippy it jus doesnt work like that. you fcukin skinny people think your gods gift to the world. oh look at me im rail thin and all my clothes fit perfect. you make me wanna puke

Im a black guy and Ive dated a lot of white women. Ive found that white women are "pure pleasers." White women will do anything to please a man. There are three things that will motivate a white woman( pure pleaser). #1. Money #2. Big black penis. #3. another white woman. Money being the first on the list, and we all know most of the job holders in America now are small penis holding white guys. That being said, the white man is only attratcted to men(90% of white guys are bi/gay), so he wants his "pure pleaser" to lose weight and downsize her rear to the size of a 12 year old boy. Think about it, why else would a guy want a woman without curves? Why would he want her in men clothing? So soccer, you have to live your life pleasing your gay husband-enjoy "your" life.

ppl keep saying that weight doesnt matter in the black culture but it does. no being really skinny isnt prevailant, but being small is.
ppl like beyonce, she not fat, but she is curvatious and somegirls may feel really bad if they dont look like this. really obese women who wear ill fitting clothes can be found in EVERY race/culture. there will always be those who dont know how bad it looks, or if they know, they dont care.
so i would say that being fat is not accepted in the "blacl culture" but being a twig isnt desirable either...

Black people have always been much more accepting of people's differences, having tasted discrimination in large doses empathy is a part of our culture and we will accept people who have been turned away from their own ethnic groups.
