Today September 15, 2006, Arab News published about Pope Bennedict XV1 when he launched a thinly veiled attack on Islam and the concept of holy war in a theological lectures to staff and students at the University of Regensburg in his native Bavaria in Southern Germany on Tuesday, quoting from a book recounting a conversation between 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos 11 and an educated Persian on the truths of Christianity and Islam.

In his lecture he said, "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread the sword the faith he preached."

And guys this might increase hate between Muslims and Christian nations. What do you think? Just and honest answer please.

Why aren't there celebrations of the OP culture and beliefs. Why are OP's limited to reservations when this entire land is rightfully theirs. Why do whites say go back to Africa or whatever like they can't go back to Europe just the same. This wasn't their land first.

I usually assume most people I meet are straight. However, when a friendship starts to develop, and I am around that person long enough, I begin to wonder. Is there a point (despite never asking the person) where you "just know"?

Been feelin a little, bored & inferior recently & the only thing I feel might make me better is world domination! I was wondering if any1 could offer any help, support or advice? easy 'choice' to make....So here's the deal--but only because it's such an easy choice...why don't some of you straight guys go out and change yourselves into gays for a month, two months..whatever..have sex with men....remember it's a snap to turn around and choose to be straight again. Then maybe you can get on this site and genuinely discuss if homosexuality is a choice or not. I will tell you this...that 95% of the gay people on here have at least tried heterosexuality and it didn't work for them..If it's such an easy choice to be straight...why do you suppose that it didn't work...why do you suppose they chose to live a life where they risk losing their families, their jobs , their self-esteem..why did they choose to be bad mouthed and bashed by straights and choose a god that considers them an abomination..THey chose this...get a grip..just use 10% of youre logic and you'll see what a ridiculous question it is...How many gay people do you know who would say 'Gee I chose it?

I've heard some people say public transportation is welfare for people who can't afford cars. I enjoy driving my car but don't think so badly about riding the bus. Why is capitalism/materialism taken so far to the extreme? Why can't people accept rich/poor as they are? Not everybody wants the same things nor should they have to.

I was hanging out with some of my old friends and some new friends today, and we starting daring each other to do things. I got dared to kiss a new friend, Jason. That was my first kiss even though I am almost 17! Then another girl dared him to kiss me again about ten minutes later. I would of preferred being alone kissing him though...

Ive been told by many that if you say your bi- well- your gay and just in the closet or in denial.... Ive been in a straight realionship for 2 years. We are happy, sex life is good... I've experienced both- and happy either way......

I've heard that now you are supposed to say "complexion" instead of "color". I agree with this, I just want to know why it is unacceptable to use the word "color" to describe someone.

I don't get why white people get angry with blacks about our behavior when it wasn't long ago (the 1960s) that blacks were first allowed to use the same public restrooms and go to restaurants and such in the same locations as whites. Why are blacks considered so bad for not having a good education when our parents, grandparents, etc, could barely read or in many instances weren't allowed to? Besides, being black is an issue when most whites think we're not intelligent enough for the higher paying jobs. Can't you people see blacks don't have a chance at catching up to the wealth other races have? Don't blame us. It's just the facts.
