mercia- are you saying there are no true Christians then- since they all comment on it? PS I'm not Christian or gay, I just think a persons life is there own business.

I think it is because murderers make a single mistake,and they think homosexuals are living everyday in sin.

It's because muderers are so much better than everybody else. They are only expressing themselves honestly and genuinely. Murderers give a lot of money to charity, the have a lot of parties for the community, haven't you seen the King of New York? That's what I'm talking about. OJ Simpson is another one of those murderers that really care. He does all kinds of autograph sessions and walks on the beach. A beautiful, beautiful guy. Full of his own life.
Gay people on the other hand, the men kiss and have sex putting thier thingys in places in rabid frantic movements, passion building up in hot aggressive strokings, and all walls of defense, met with subduing throes of animated desire.
While the women caress sweetly and softly, barely touching their smooth and supple breasts with timely and reciprocating pleasures. Each being clairvoyant to the needs of the other with gentle sensuous warmth undulating passes by accommodating hands that reach into the inner desires secretly held and waxing to passionate surges of desire.

No, I am just joking. It's because some Christians are taught the wrong thing, and judge others based on the teachings of errant pastors. They want to believe that they can please God through their lifestlye. There is no way to do that except by faith, not their ability to not do something. The gays are unfairly treated, even worse, those Chistians that treat people so badly are defiling the Gospel. To me, that's the worst thing about it all. They pervert the Gospel message.

I don't know where you come off thinking that Christians are more lenient on murderers than on gays, because the way I see it, Jesus forgave killers, homosexuals, prostitutes, and other sinners. He treated everyone equally, I deal with loving, forgiving Christians.

Because someone is a Christian, does not mean that he is naturally smart or even intelligent. Most "so called" Christians chose to think themselves above others and chose their subjects to love or hate through ignorance or blind obedience. I am a Christian. I manifest my Christianity by continually trying to become a better person ranter than going around judging and condemning others. I feel that it is not up to me to even feel that gays or murderers need my forgiveness.
Who am I to judge?

Because they have a very warped sense of what is right and wrong. Christians (as a religion) have a history of murder, so they are bound to forgive them. Also, due to preists who are kiddy fiddlers, they'll probably forgive them too, because they are very strange in terms of morals

Because they haven't evolved fully as yet ...it will happen but it takes time .

Because murderers don't turn them on and make them feel guilty.
It's not all Christians however. Just the ones who feed on hate and fear rather than the love that Jesus taught.

Jesus even asked God to forgive those who crucified him("Forgive them for they do not know what they're doing!"). But there isn't any verse in the Bible confirming that Jesus condoned homosexuality. So Christians are more willing to forgive murderers than gays.

Good question. somehow, it is the most repulsive thing to many people, maybe because it is something so personal. Everyone thinks about sex, but not usually about murder. Many christians feel that straight sex outside of marriage(fornication) is bad enough.

Duh, because the Bible says so!
Oh and that person that said "doing a boy up the you know what" is worse that murdering someone, how the hell do you work that one out? Nobody dies, nobody gets hurt (okay, sometimes it hurts) and in a majority of these events, both 'boys' are consenting to it. It's in no way different to sex between a guy and a girl. There's sometimes pain there (especially the first time) and both parties are constenting to it.

Because gay makes them nervous.
Most people would NEVER commit murder. That's pretty cut and dried. But almost everyone has had a gay thought now and then. It makes them nervous, so they take a harder stand to compensate for it, or to make sure they are straight...for sure.
