Today September 15, 2006, Arab News published about Pope Bennedict XV1 when he launched a thinly veiled attack on Islam and the concept of holy war in a theological lectures to staff and students at the University of Regensburg in his native Bavaria in Southern Germany on Tuesday, quoting from a book recounting a conversation between 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor Manuel Paleologos 11 and an educated Persian on the truths of Christianity and Islam.

In his lecture he said, "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread the sword the faith he preached."

I think it's time for Muslims to decide what it is they stand for.

He is definitely focused on hate, rather than on the accomplishments of Islamic educators, inventors and social leaders. Like all of us he has listened too much to the media which focuses on evil rather than good.
