Good for you! I'm proud to be heterosexual. However I don't feel the need to constantly remind the world of my sexuality. So why do they have that poofs parade in Brighton every year? I might organise a carnival strictly for heteros, but that would be seen as homophobic. Admittedly gay men are more flamboyant and love an opportunity to flaunt themselves, but do you have to be so apparent?

Actually I am no prouder of being gay than I am of having 10 toes. I just was born with ten toes and I was just born gay. I am proud of my entire being and the life I have created and I genuinely love myself. It has nothing to do with my sexuality.

Yes i am gay as wella nd i am proud of my sexuality to. I don't care what people think about me or what they want out of me. This is my life and i will do what i want with it. Why do they worry about who i date, have sex with, or love. I'm proud of being who i am!

I think thats good- there is no shame in being gay. Anyone who says different is ignorant of the facts and unfit for modern society.
It takes a strong person to say what you have just said. I have nothing but admiration for you!

I'm proud to be ME. My sexuality just happens to be an aspect of who I am, not the sum totality of my being.

Well, I'm happy being gay, and I'm surrounded by many friends who are happy for me. But... proud? No, I wouldn't use that word. I'm proud of my achievements, and I don't consider this an achievement.

Anyway, I'm happy for you!

Certainly not ashamed of it love, but proud? Would I be proud to be straight? I just happen to be a human being who is gay not the other way round.

Glad you cannot be broken!
No, I'm not proud to be gay. I have accepted it and live my life openly but I'm not proud or ashamed.
