In my mind there is only one City that's York In Yorkshire. A beautiful City loads to do. Plenty of History, Beautiful area Plenty of Greenery, More than ample good restaurants, Beautiful walks round the City. Only 1 hour from the coast at Scarborough.

Cape Town!
Great scenery (Table Top Mtn & Camps Bay).
Great weather (even the wind is vibrant).
Great buzz about the place.
The V & A mall (it even has 2 breweries in it...one Brit the other German).
Wonderful women.
Did I mention Camps Bay? Well you can sit on the beach with a sundowner & just watch the sun slide over the horizon. The colours in the sky change rapidly & give you the best light display this side of God knows where.
Come to Cape Town. You'll love it & I might even invite you around for a braai!

Sao Joaquim in the state of Santa Catarina in Brazil.... there is sun, snow, warm and welcoming people and some neighbourhoods even speak German, besides english.... that city was populated by germans immigrants long time ago... that's why they can speak.
