I have noticed that a lot of people are moving closer to familys. Though a lot of familys are so dramatic and cause trouble amongst each other.. is it best to just keep to yourselves like your husband and wife?

There's this girl on myspace who wanted me to add her as a friend a while ago. She's a lesbian, I am too. Anyway, she posted a bullentin about how gays will never be able to get get married since Clinton signed the Defense of Marriage in 96, making it federal law. Anyway another friend of mine asked me to repost a bullentin if I believed in gay rights. I reposted it. The girl in question then messsage me asking what rights I'm talking about because gays will never be able to marry. I told her she was being negative and that a lot of gays like to stay positive and fight for it and we will be able to marry one day. This girl then gets really mad at me, deletes me as a friend, calls me an ignorant *** and says gay people like me who fight for our rights are asking the government for hand outs, and hurting gays more than helping them. I told her that asking the gov't for a handout would be welfare, but marriage is a right. I then cursed her out and told her I'm glad she deleted me.

I am a gay guy that is scared too death of my boyfriend killing me.My boy friend cut me up with a knife and said if he see me talking to other boys, or espicially talking to woman, he was going to kill me. After that He spit in my face and kick me in the stomach. The next day when he seen my talking to one of my lady friends, he hit me in my back with an iron that was hot and had sex with me punching me in the face while on top of me. Please help me I am scared to death and do not know what to do.

I have an elderly uncle who is gay, but is only out with his closest family and friends. I wish he'd be available for discussion, especially since I'm coming to terms with my bisexuality. It would be nice to have him to talk to. When I questioned my mother about this, she told me a horrible story about him. When he was younger, like in his 20s, he felt that it was his duty to be proud of his orientation. It's been around since the dawn of time after all. He and his lover were out and they were harrassed constantly. One evening, my uncle came home to find his lover murdered in his bedroom, shot in the head execution style. It was very truamatizing to him. It was his first love and he knew that it would've been him too if he was home. After that, I can never bring myself to talk to my uncle about anything LGBT for fear of upsetting or scaring him. My question is what type of struggles did you go through that you don't see happening now? Do you have stories?

there is this boy at my school name fabion that I think is a bi sexual.The way he dress the way he carry hisself makes me believes hes bi. The reason I think he is bi because he haves a girlfrined and he be frech kissing her in the hallways. my father flipped when he found out i was gay. he has always been abusive and all of that stuff. he has just been diagnosed with a potentially terminal cancer. should i forgive him for all of the torture or just be stubborn and not care. he is my father and i do have a few good memories about my childhood.

And... did you know if you hit the animal it falls under comprehensive on your car insurance which usually means you have a lower deductible, and it isn't held against you. Did you know if you swerved and missed the animal, but hit something else.. you're now involved in an "at-fault" accident, and have to pay your collision deductible!!! Would you hit the darned cat or squirrel or go for the bank or pole??

She posted a question here and claimed to be psycic. I said I did not believe her. Then I received a phone call and it was her. I asked how she get my # and she said , "duuuuuh, I'm psychic. I immediately hung up the phone.
Then 2 days later I get a huge envelope in the mail. It had a picture of the psychic, she was very scary and spooky looking. The letter said, "see, I told you I was psychic little lady. he he he he he he."
Now I have nightmares about her scary face at the side of my bed as she breaths really heavy and tells me how she is reading my mind and knows my every move. I'm scared. I am gay myself, but the impression that I got from gays are pretty negative (either from tv or yahoo answers). Note, I dont have any gay friends, so I dont know if they are true or not...
- It seems like gays focused too much on the looks - basically if you are not pretty, then it is almost certain that you will never find a boyfriend.
- Then it is about physical appearance. It is about whether you are muscular or not.
- It always involves sex, which leads to whether a guy is hung or not. I dont know, I find it very scary that gays are mostly associated with sex.
- Intelligence: I got the impression that most gays would look down on others if they are not smart enough...
I feel very insecure... I know that I am not pretty, not muscular, not hung, or not smart compared to others. What should I do?

why is it that with just about every single question that is asked here, from the fundamental workings of the universe to by-laws on garbage disposal, at least one so-called christian will post a reply that will usually ignore the facts of the matter in question and impose their belief on every single other person reading the thread? jesus preached to practice religion in private, so considering these people usually quote extensively from the scriptures, how is that that obviously that particular part of his teachings doesn't apply to them? furthermore, why do they expect me, an atheist, to unquestioningly accept the balderdash they are talking whereas when i give them my worldview they'll most likely tell me that i'll either have to accept their idea of religion or will go to hell? also, why do they post questions on hard science only to choose as the best answer the reply that goes with their preconception anyway? isn't it telling that i already know what the replies to this will be?

I am a white 40 year old male. My 15 year old daughter said the "N" word by putting the letter "A" at the end instead of an "R", to a friend. She told me everyone says it at school, white and black. I find this word to be very offensive. I told her that it might not be offensive to young people but it surely is to adults and if I hear her saying it again she will be grounded. She states it's not the same thing as the "N" word and my wife agrees. Do you find it offensive like I do? Please state your age and race when answering this question and if you have kids. Thank you.
