I think the media will cover this shooting for about 20 minutes then move on. It seems like a lot of innocent people have to die at once for anyone to care. Single shootings will be glanced at and forgotten. Did they beat Columbine? Nope! Let's move on...

theyll blame violent games
theyll blame rock music
theyll blame movies
theyll blame the parents
theyll say hes coppying Columbine, Santana, Red Lake, Ricori, etc
theyll blame the gothic subcultur (which theyll definatly mess up and confuse it with the metalhead subculture, the two are NOT related, and Marylin Manson is NOT goth
theyll blame mental desease
theyll blame access to guns and ammo
theyll blame the absence of religion in school
theyll disregard all the real issues (bullying {ussually the main one}, unstability of the shooter(s), the shooter(s) personal irresponsibility, trauma, etc)

They will get blamed for all that you mentioned but thats the easy excuse..,you will get the conspiracy theorists that will say there were weapons planted at the school by George Bush and Dick Cheney taught them how to shoot the guns and Condoleeza Rice set it up with the canadian govt and Donald Rumsfeld didnt send in enough weapons..,makes sense doesnt it?

Well, considering the Canadian Liberal Govt spent over a billion dollars of tax payer money on a program that was suppose to be self supporting. i.e. gun registration fees.
Remember Canada's GDP is less than California.
I SAY BLAME BUSH....hell he gets blamed for everything else.
I bet the guns belonged to Dick Cheney, run the prints.

im sure different news stations will blame pretty much all of those.... but u know what.... i play the violentest games, listen to rock constantly, my library is full of violent movies, my parents werent the best and my friends arent really good role models either... and im working my way to become a cop. so they can say what they want but they are wrong... its probably jsut the enviroment they grew up in and their parents probably didnt punish them enough when they were a kid

I vote for bad parenting...
If you're not taught the values of life at an early age from the people you're supposed to get it from, these things will keep happening.
There are thousands of people who play video games, listen to music, watch violent films, etc.... that were taught those values and will not pull the trigger.

None of the above. I'd say it is the easy and indiscriminate access to guns and ammo by people who have never been tested for psychological stability through neuro-psychiatric examinations.
