I want to donate clothes so they will go to the needy...
I usd to donate them to goodwill/salvation army, but they really only sell those things.
Whenever I call a hospital, nursing home or a red cross, i get turned down becuase my clothing is a size 0-1, and they want size 10+.
Is there a special place where I can just take my things, or should I give stuff to the needy if I see them?
Thanks

I just wondered if you ever tell them to go out and get a real job, and to stop begging for money, and tell them to tell the people they are collecting money for to go get a job? I mean anyone is capable of working. Have you ever heard the phrase a trained monkey could do that job? I know people in wheelchairs and people who are blind and people who are deaf and Etc. that work. Don't you think everyone should have to take responsibility for themselves and their own life? Even hurricane victims, cause we all run into hard times at some point don't we? I just want to see how many contradictions I get from the last question I posted. : )

I am curious as to whether you can start a troop organization similar to girl/boy scouts. As long as you don't call it girl/boy scouts and you don't use what the two organizations use. Could I get sued for starting a troop similar to girl/ boy scouts but I don't have the name girl/boy scouts?

Only babysitting/helping families in the neighborhood that I know. I would tutor kids once a week up to an hour long, possibly 1.5 hours. I would tutor any areas of concern, given by the parents. I'm in honors classes, and I'd mention that on the flyers. I would babysit any day, never at night. I'd be a mother's helper whenever. I still can't decide on which job. My parents don't like the tutoring idea, but it's the only thing that our neighborhood doesn't have yet. I want whatever would hopefully pay most. Thanks for the help!

In central London as in most UK towns nowadays, it is impossible to walk down the road without your path being blocked by a 'Charity Mugger' - an often irritating character who says 'come on, it's only £2 a month' and won't let you get past them without difficulty. These guys get paid at least £8 an hour which over a 35 hour week is about £280 gross - that means that they have to 'mug' 140 people a month just to pay for one week of their salary! If I gave £2 to every charity mugger on my route to work I would soon be bankrupt! I have discovered that if I pretend to be on my mobile, they ignore me! How do you deal with these people? I do give to 5 charities a month (£5 each) but couldn't afford any more!
