If it's offered for free......chances are it's going to cost you!
Don't become another of thousands of victims and report the email as "spam."

Theres a lot of that going around, your first response tells them they have a sucker on the line, then you need to send just a little money so the taxes are paid or the shipping, or to bribe someone and each excuse asks for just a bit more money.
Delete it, don't get started, because they hand sucker lists out to other scammers if you even reply.

It's a scam that probably originated in Nigeria. One assumption that will help you deal with a situation like this is just to believe in and repeat to yourself the old adage "no one gives anything away for free unless there are strings attached" or to put it another way "there are no free lunches".

Sounds like a scam. If she had 26mil to donate to charity, why would she be requesting you to do it for her? She could do it herself, and it'd probably end up with the results she was looking for.
I wouldn't even reply unless you know her personally, which according to your question, you don't.

i got the same letter and deleted it as i know that you do not get anything for nothing in this world. you should know also that she should have been able to find someone to take the money off her hands in her own country. I think she told me that she was from Great Britian

i got a similar email from someone a while back. didn't bother replying because the good Lord gave me a brain which made me think its too good to be true and it probably was....
if she needs to help others she can still do it by keeping herself anonymous. don't u think?

It is a scam, much like those Nigerian scams.
DO NOT fall for this scam. They will take your money (yes, they will want you to wire money first to cover fees and costs) and they will run.

Sounds like a scam. Go ahead and say yes but whatever you do, dont give her any address, SS#, or bank account info until you meet her in person.

No, don't even respond, just delete and move on.
It's a social engineering attack, hoping to lure people into giving them info, and pay them fees to transfer the millions to you.
