I am asking this because I think our children need a place where they can read and use the computers for school projects. I enjoy going there myself and it has helped me alot. I know it sounds weird but I think the children are the future. They will be smarter with some help of donations of books as well. I wanna donate books, tapes, CDs, DVD's, money, and some CD and tape players. If this sounds good let me know.

Of course, I can donate money and food. Are there any other ways to help them?
It pains to see the rich enjoying their lives and wasting money and the poor struggling to manage for one square meal a day.
It breaks my heart to see the poor. I wan't to do something, but I just can't, I don't know what to do.

Why do we feel like we have to look picture perfect in order to fit in society? What's wrong if we arent 5'4 (etc) and weigh 110 lbs. Or men 6'2 and 180? Just galls me . but I dont fit the perfect body ..But what is a perfect body? I am who i am ...What do you say about that? sorry lots of questions here.

I just twizzled my self , on my tizzle. Then suddenly my grizzle started hurting for no fizzle reason. I just took 4 pizzles because like I said my grizzle was hurting , but it still hurts like a double gizzle. Whats the wizzle?

Last Febuary my husband lost his job. It took him about 2 months to get the position that he is in now. Durring that time we had to use credit cards to pay our bills. Now they keep on calling because we currently don't have the money to pay them. My husband barly makes enough to pay the mortgage, $380/month, car insurance, $150/month, and our loans, 175/month. Each month I struggle to pay the bills, take care of our two boys, 2 and 2 months, and pay for gas and food.

I am a graduate student on a tight budget, and I'm participating in AIDS LifeCycle 6 (http://aidslifecycle.org/4895) to raise money for HIV treatment and prevention.

How can I get strangers to donate? Does anyone reading this want to donate?

AIDS LifeCycle (http://www.aidslifecycle.org/4895) is a 545-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for and awareness about HIV/AIDS.

1,000,000 people in the United States are living with HIV, and money raised by this event will:

* Provide medicine to those who can't afford it
* Counsel HIV+ people about how to get the care they need
* Educate people about HIV prevention

I want to get into med school and am looking for a great opportunity to do humanitarian work abroad. I really want to do it in the Philippines or other third world countries in Asia. I wanted to go to Africa, but it seems like all the celebrities got that taken care of. Should I study abroad and volunteer at the same time? I always wanted to join the Peace Corps after college, but since med school takes a long time I don't think I will.

This sounds so crazy, I know. I have always believed that GOD has created more than just us human-beings and our planet. I have a good friend that is a radioligist and very intelligent. He wakes up every few months with a new mistory object implanted behind his ear. When he trys to have it sergically removed, it moves around on its own and then disappears. He also suffers from weird scratchs and memories. I too have seen some weird stuff in the sky. I realise that our military is usually just test flying some new invention however these flying objects don't move like any of our stuff. If they really do excist, then what do they really want from us, besides just to study us. Any ideas or personal experiounces?

I would like to hear some thoughtful responses to this idea: I suggest an internet match-maker system, with a few tips borrowed from Yahoo Answers. Yahoo Answers (along with other similar systems) has proven that there are vast numbers of people in the world who would like to help other people. There are even more vast numbers who would enjoy helping others (or at least would not mind making some small effort to help) in exchange for some sense of accomplishment and possible public recognition in a points-scoring/game type of setting. (Computer games in general demonstrate that people enjoy advancing through levels of achievement, even if the "reward" of all of this effort is just points scored in a game.)

Since I have almost used up my 1000 word limit, I will continue outlining my idea in the additional details below.

I want to do something nice for the homeless but I am not entirely sure that I should. Well, I mean obviously I should, but I am sort of scared to go right up to the homeless and offer them lunch and a blanket and mittens. I know that the homeless are not really scary but I am a shy person and anyway what if the person is high or really drunk or something? I don't want to get hurt, even if most homeless people aren't drunks or druggies, although I do want to help them (like people who can't or won't go to a shelter). What should I do?
