The thing about DECIDING or REALIZING.

And please be sure that I'm not being rude to anyone really, since it's VERY difficult to be sincere to both Theists and Atheists all at the same time if you know what I mean...
I'm just a human like you.

The question is:
Could the source of problem that people are rude to each other in R&S is because they think they REALIZED instead of they DECIDED for themselves?

Just a rambling you can skip:
Surely, I believe that Gods in the bibles are imaginary because of the contradictions and the idea of almighty and benevolent being is impossible but there are just so many unexplainable things in life and there could be other powers which is more complicated than 'God'...We have to keep our minds open, no? =]

Now I don't belive in God, but I always wondered why Christians always hate the therory of evoloution, and dont achnowledge its existence. What I mean is that i don't get how evoulotuion clashes with religous views......is it possible that god invented evolution? why is it so heated lol

My wife has been invited to Christmas eve at her sisters house 30 miles away. She comes from a big family and people are coming from all directions to the strong sisters house. She is the leader of the family and everyone seems to love her and what ever she says pretty much goes.

This year she has decided that I should stay at home and my wife should come alone. She does not like me and has told the rest of the family that they should hate me too.

Should my wife attend her Holiday Celebration without me, or refuse to attend? (If she pushed the issue maybe I would be allowed to go along but of course it would be painful) Your thoughts?

I'm going to my boyfriend's family's house on Christmas Day and his SIL just had a baby. They'll more than likely try to get me to hold her. I don't really like babies, they make me uncomfortable. How can I poltely decline without looking like I'm making excuses or being rude? I really don't want to offend anyone, especially on Christmas. (No rude comments please, kids aren't for everyone)

I am just curious as to what kinda jobs are working the holiday and what companies are doing this to their employees. I don't practice Christianity but I don't practice Islam either and I would not work my employees on their respectively religious holidays.

Christians believe the following:
God created the universe about 7,000 years ago (with the appearance of an ancient age, even though it is young)

God made men and later repented of making men (wished He had never done it) so He kills every one of them except for Noah and his family (He kills all the animals too except for two of each "kind" but all this needs to be taken into perspective, I mean, it's GOD!!! My last name is "Hu". It's of chinese origin, you know the current president of the PRC has the same last name.

But the problem is, the pronunciation is ambiguous in english. People say "Who" (then they proceed to make the 'knock knock' jokes) or "Hue". The correct pronunciation is similar to the former but I would just like the change it all together.

I thought about:

Hugh, or
Hughe.

But I think that misrepresents my identity a bit because I am not caucasian at all.

I also considered ambiguous last names like:

Floy or Fox

So anybody got some good suggestions? I would really like a last name that doesn't mean anything or denote any race.. like "Steve Jobs". Johnson and Smith names are too "white for me".
