Mr Song Li wants my help to transfer his $3 million to an equity account because a regular savings or checking acount just won't do to assist him in getting his money out of the US!
BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCAM from a Hotmail account address that wants Americans to assist them with fraud & deception tactics!!!

I'm wondering if these scammers have their own automated systems that are linked into the Yahoo Answers Site or if they have humans that are getting paid to try & exploit the users of this site. Sound like the old "set-up" con from the 30's & 40's have resurfaced again in a new way! Careful what you devulge to strangers & remember...if it sounds too good to be true...it usually IS !!! Get rich quick is the biggest scam of all next to the "please help me" scams.

It was probably just a coincidence and may have nothing to do with Yahoo.
I get these spams/scams all the time...most are out of Nigeria but they can come from anywhere. They even did a special on TV where they staged a 'sting' to catch one guy and his cohorts. Amazing that folk actually fall prey to this one.
I come from the old school - there is no such thing as "free lunch" ! LOL

Got nothing lately, but I have had scams in the past. My delete button works really well on emails with names I don't know. I never even open them, and also my bulk mail filter works really well. (too well, sometimes, I have to retrieve an email occasionally) Nothing from this Song Li, but you can bet that will get the delete button also!
I don't give anybody any info of any kind on the computer unless I initiate it, same on the phone.

No, I haven't received anything under that name . For a while I was receiving propositions though, I thought that was strange to say the least..
EDIT: I posted my resume on line and also got those "Nigerian" letters, I have received 3 checks in the mail, from someone in Canada, they were turned over to local law enforcement as I called the bank they were drawn on, thinking they would want them back. I was told to call the FBI or the local police.

Song Li is one of many I've received in the last few weeks -- hope they get tired of loading up my spam box before long.

Haven't heard from "Song Li", but I got one from a girl in Nigeria, who's parents were killed in plane crash, and she needed my help to get her $5 million inheritance out of Nigeria to the US......Would you trust your $5 million to a total stranger on the Internet?............If you send your phone number, they can find out your address.......Everyone be safe, and just delete these scams...........

No, however, I changed my profile to not showing email, or instant messages after I received a nasty (filthy) instant message from someone on YA two weeks ago!
