I've learned that republicans are really mean to liberals and that some people ask annoying questions. I don't think those are life lessons though.

My convictions have stayed the same. I spent some time in a Christian chat room before using Yahoo answers. So have mixed in conversation with different belief systems. I still trust Jesus and I still think morality important.
I have thought a great deal about my belief. And have good reason, experience and faith.
My understanding of human behaviour is perhaps a little more acute. My perception of others motivation is perhaps a little better.
It certainly makes you think about other peoples situations and reason for response.
I must say that on line has made me more protective.

Actually I have been amazed how ignorant people really are...
Spiritually, scientifically, and religiously...
I have also been amazed at some wonderful answers people have given...
BTW, I mean ignorant as in not knowing...
But, No, I have not been educated by this site... You cannot trust everything on this site or everyone on here...
I will not take information at face value... Everything must be questioned and tested to see if it is true...
Journey Well...

Yes, i have learned much. I have learned that some people actually read your questions and answers what you have asked. other people seem to not have read the question because their answer is totally irrelevant to what you have asked. most of all, i have learned that the majority of people on this site do not thoroughly research their claims or answers and are ignorent of other reading material except the bible...

Yes, I spend a lot of time researching various topics I read on here.
I also, hopefully, have gotten better at expressing my thoughts through writing, but it's an uphill battle.
My spelling hasn't improved, a quick look at my avatar name proves that! *slaps head* I meant "Pirate", sigh, oh well.

Yep!!! I went from christianity to atheism, and improved my broad understanding of the world, and how screwed up, it is
i have also learned that the opinions of christinas on her are narrow-minded, and closed minded, and terrifying.
But, I try not to be judgmental, only observant.
And Prirate>>>>> go to your profile page, and click where it says >>>edit profile,<<<, . and then rewrite >pirate,< on the nickname line, and there you go.

It terrifies me when I read some peoples comments on here so hurtful and with no regard whatsoever for other peoples feelings, I wonder if they would be so brave if not sat behind a computer but face to face
