I'd call the white coats, just like any other rational person would do if they heard someone rolling on the floor and yelling gibberish. I guess Church is the one place where insanity rules.

I don't understand this practice. As far as I know, I do "speak in tongues." English and Spanish. I don't know about being able to communicate in angelic languages or whatever, the way speaking in tongues is presented in the Bible seems to me like they were able to speak many different human languages at the time that some people somewhere could understand. So I believe that in the New Testament times, people were speaking in Latin, Aramaic, Greek, Hebrew, and perhaps other languages of the Roman Empire, which would explain how they were able to spread the gospel to the various cultures around the Meditteranean.

I handled it everyday for years while working in a c-store. People of a dozen different languages would come in each day and I would just know or figure out what they wanted.

Now this is completely opposite from speaking in tongues. The first widespread use of this gift was at Pentecost of 33CE. There were people from many different lands speaking different languages who were able to understand those apostles from that upper room. 3,000 people joined that day because they UNDERSTOOD what was being said.

Proof that today's tongue speaking is not from God is that the message is completely gibberish to the listeners. Of the few times when someone did understand the language, it was the most profain vulgarity they had ever heard. Not from God.

I am a clerk, and I'd just sell the smokes. The rule is: once you understand what they want, sell it to them so they'll get out of the store. I deal with people who speak a lot of languages...gibberish isn't going to bother me.

no, speaking in tongues has to be in a context, either private or a prayer group or church. it is not for secular purposes such as purchasing cigarettes.
