When you are upset, you should avoid anything that is not good and harmful to you, your mind, your sense of being and your health. But most of all, you should avoid letting yourself go haywire if you do get upset.

I need to avoid drugs, alcohol and other people. I've been known to do really stupid things when I'm upset.....
How'd you know I was that upset today?

-Things and people that anger you, in those times the devil in you can come out.
-Negative thoughts, easier said that done but you can really lift your mood if you try thinking about things that make you smile.
-Doing nothing, when you sit around and just think about how you are upset, you will become more and more so.

Being around other people. I don't want to inadvertently snap at anyone, especially someone who didn't have anything to do with my being upset.

Myself :-( As in, thinking about what has made me upset, consequently blaming it on myself for no reason, which then makes the tears flow harder :-(

Yeah I try not to get near any walls or something that I can break. Easily. And people too, or I'll just say or do something I'll later regret.
