New Age author. I just picked up two of his pieces... "Brief History of Everything" and "A Theory of Everything". Any recommendations on which to read first? I just looked around a bit and see he's got much more out there than the bookstore had to offer. I'll definitely pick some more up, seems like some interesting material...

The cosmos is a gigantic flywheel,making10 000 revolutions a minute.
Man is a sick fly taking a dizzy ride on it.
Religion is the theory that the wheel was designed and set spinning to give him the ride.

I am super scared. I was at the millennium knickerbocker chicago last night & I woke up this morning with 2 new text messages on my altell cellphone. I went to look at them and the first one was from a friend and the other I couldn't find. It ended up being like the last one of all my messages. It was marked urgent. This message doesnt say who its from (its completely blank) and the call back number is the same. THE WEIRDEST PART is that it was sent tues JAN 1, 12:00am. NOTE:this is not an old message and jan 1 2007 was on a monday! My phone has also went kinda spazo and like called peeps on its own before. I dont understand how I can get a text from an unknown person and a date that hasnt occured. I am scared. Is this supossed to be a sign that something is going to happen? Is my phone haunted? I heard the hotel could be haunted, thefore did a ghost send it? What do u think I should do? A friend suggests I get rid of the phone immediatly-I called altell and they cant trace the text

If Jesus is God, and all knowing, then He knew the outcome would be allright even as He was being crucified. He knew He would rise on the third day, and shortly after ascend to heaven. Isnt it a greater sacrifice for a person to give his life for another without the knowledge that he is going to another life in heaven?

How do the Scriptures describe Him? I believe the way we see Jesus in the Scriptures is important because we all are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Holy Spirit, as we behold His glory.

Merry Christmas and God bless.

I take Spanish III Honors in high school, and I need a little help. Right now, we're doing the imperfect and preterite tenses. Does anyone know any websites that offer Spanish help? Also, I will give an example of a pass tense sentence, and can somebody tell me what's wrong with it b/c my Spanish teacher said it was wrong and she wouldn't help me b/c she said I should know by now? Here it is:
- Ayer, mi madre y yo fuimos al cine.
- Yesterday, my mom and I went to the movies.
Thanks!

Do any kids really believe in the easter bunny? I understand about kids believing in santa but thats different. Because kids are supposed to believe that a giant bunny comes into your house and leaves presents? I mean, santa is a bit more believable, you know?

Ok thinking of this either someone stole the first baby Jesus to be mean...or because they really liked baby Jesus.
Either way it's jacked up to steal a baby Jesus, isn't it.

I was trying to learn Biblical Greek from a book I bought a Christian book store and I was talking to my pastor about it and he showed me a book that was made 100 years ago that teaches you New Testament Greek and it is good. I read over 150 pages of the book I bought and never saw where there were 8 basic noun forms and the classifications/paradigms of verbs. So I threw that book away and I am sticking with the 100 year old book.

The pastor at our church is teaching Biblical Hebrew to us and we are progressing very well cause he is an excellent teacher. I can chart all forms of a strong verb both singular and plural in the perfect state. Yahoo!!!!! Learning the original meanings of words has helped me understand the Bible more clearly. For example, Church is taken from the Greek "Ekklesia" which is a direvitave of "Ek" (out from) and "Kalleo" (to call). Better translated as "Called out"

How about you? What is your knowledge of Greek or Hebrew and how has it helped you?
