I am super scared. I was at the millennium knickerbocker chicago last night & I woke up this morning with 2 new text messages on my altell cellphone. I went to look at them and the first one was from a friend and the other I couldn't find. It ended up being like the last one of all my messages. It was marked urgent. This message doesnt say who its from (its completely blank) and the call back number is the same. THE WEIRDEST PART is that it was sent tues JAN 1, 12:00am. NOTE:this is not an old message and jan 1 2007 was on a monday! My phone has also went kinda spazo and like called peeps on its own before. I dont understand how I can get a text from an unknown person and a date that hasnt occured. I am scared. Is this supossed to be a sign that something is going to happen? Is my phone haunted? I heard the hotel could be haunted, thefore did a ghost send it? What do u think I should do? A friend suggests I get rid of the phone immediatly-I called altell and they cant trace the text

I get post-dated spam all the time. Sounds like you got a text version.

I am not sure if this is the sort of thing you are after for a text message for April Fools but I will show it to you just for fun. R U A 6 U L D V 8 ? This is a good one to get a New Zealander to say it out aloud. Because of there accent they pronounce the number Six as "Sux or Sex" Just say each letter and number out loud to understand what it reads. Gosh! I hope I haven't offended you. "Sorry if I have" It's all meant to be in fun. If I have I will remove my answer.

Don't get freaked out over that, hon. My sister once received a missed call from a number with only 0s for the digits.

Yep, I would go ahead and cash out all your stock options now, and go on vacation while you can still enjoy the world. Obviously the end is near, and God is sending text message prophecies to announce the apocalypse

So either get rid of the phone, or wait until Jan 1 and see if you get it again.

Could it maybe have been reset and had the time and date all messed up? Kind of like alarm clocks do after a power outage?

personally .. I've experienced things like that before. and 1 time it actually did save me.

If I were you .. I'd play it cool for New Years eve. If you have any plans to go out .. see if your friends wouldn't mind hanging at your house ..

the universe sometimes knocks on my door too .. to give me heads up
