A synonym perhaps?

If it is meant as a salutation... a form of saying, "goodbye" to someone upon leaving, then other forms can be substituted:

"Take care!"
"Via Con Dios"
"Enjoy the rest of your day."
"So long."

If it's meant as a last thought before going to bed, other expressions can be used:

"Don't let the bedbugs bite!"
"Sleep tight"
"Dream sweetly"

and, while the translation is very rough, my favorite that my grandmother would say to us (in German):

"Schlaf rund das du nicht eckensverst" ... which roughly translates, "Sleep round so you don't get corners." (Pardon my German, as I've never actually seen this phrase written, I've only HEARD it spoken in German!).

Have a polite day.
