Why not? I think most women make better friends than men. There are things you can discuss with a girl that you would never consider discussing with a guy. I've had girlfriends that I've traveled with, gone fishing and whitewater rafting with and have never thought it to be at my disadvantage. FYI.

there's some gay guys at my school (who im friends with...btw i am a girl) and they have freinds who are lesbo or (w/e u wanna call it i dont use that word) ... it would just be like having a guy friend
cuz gay peopl eare kinda girly and lesbos and like tom-boys (some times) [no effence to any one]
so its would be just like a girl having a friend who's a guy

I had co-worker that was gay.She wasn't my best friend but a good friend.We got along great.
