if there was for sure a God, then yes that would be really nice to know that you will live forever in heaven for all eternity.
it would be really cool if a God existed.
Sadly, i do not believe that there is one.

I can't speak for others, of course, but no. The way you pose the question doesn't really make sense to me at all. You posit God as an ultimate moral entity and what you are essentially asking is: Don't you wish there was a guarantor of all morality in the Universe?
The fact is I don't perceive the world in a way where this would make sense. There was a long process to lead me out of my childhood religion. Notions such as sin and redemption don't really make much sense anymore. I have turned to eastern philosophies as a result, where these notions have been replaced with ideas such as suffering, attachment and liberation. It is quite a different psychological Universe. I couldn't "return" to God, as you probably would put it, even if I wanted to. The simple fact is the notions to which Christians allude don't even make sense to me any more.

If I wished I would become christian or something.
Isn't that obvious?
I do not wish for a god.

I realized at age sixteen that the Bible stories don't add up, and the whole plan was kind of hokey.

I was a little disappointed, but I got over it.

Hey, maybe there is a god -- just not the Bible god.
If you knew the Bible, you'd know that god is way too weird and mean etc. to be a real god.

I am an Atheist, but I am very open-minded. I am willing to look into any religion and base my opinion from what I understand of it. I guess I wish there were one that seemed logical to me, but there isn't, and probably never will be.

Just curious... What's the difference between an atheist and a non-believer?

Depends on the God. I think the Judea Christian God is the most evil character ever conceived by man. I would not be interested in worshiping such a figure and am relieved that he doesn't exist.

Quit asking that over and over again. Did you think the answer changed since the last time you asked this same question?

To be honest, I would like a god to exist (at least one that is actually benevolent, unlike the O.T. God...). But, it would not matter significantly to me. You can define your life's meaning without a god, you can accept that we came to be without a god, and then, if you find, at the end of life, that there was a purpose behind that which we seen for ourselves with certainty, perhaps it will be a time for great fulfillment. Otherwise, what have we lost?

If I had any reason to believe in a god, I would.

If gods did exist, I'd believe in them.

I see no reason to think that they do.

Jehovah seems like an asshole though, so I don't want him around.
