The saying "seek not what is too sublilme" comes as far as I know, from the Bible Vulgata as given in "Sirach 3:22." I find this in Douay Rheims as "Ecc 3:22." I did not find it in the KJV.

My questions:

1-Do I reference the saying correctly with "Sirach 3:22'?

2-Is the saying somewhere in the KJV of the Bible?

3-If not, "yes" to the above and why not?

4-Am I correct in thinking that "Sirach" is subsumed into Eccesiastes?

Thanks

"It is therefore the duty of the people of God [the Saints] to keep the Sabbath [Saturday]. For he who has entered into his rest also has ceased from his own works, as God did from His" (Hebrews 4:9,10, Lamsa).

Concerning ETERNITY: "From one Sabbath [Saturday] to another, all manknd shall come to worship befor.e me, says the Lord" (isaiah 66:23)

Why Are Bible Teachers and Preachers Avoiding Certain Topics?

Why are they avoiding topics like hell, the lake of fire, the great white throne judgement and so many others that churchgoers should know very well?

Are they trying not to offend people?

Maybe they say: "If we offend our congregation, they will leave our church and thus reduce the offering."

What's the real story?

Anyone?

My aunt and uncle (and his wife) fell out as he wanted to have half her house (which she purchased solely) if she died before her. She refused, they stopped speaking save for a letter his wife wrote to my aunt saying how selfish she was etc. Now my aunt is compiling and making notes on a letter she wants to reply with. But as her spelling etc is bad and she cannot use a computer she wants me to type the letter for her from her handwritten notes or indeed from an audio machine.

But can me typing the letter affect my Karma in anyway?

Thanks for your help.

Do you take the time and make the effort to pick something out specifically for that person (knowing their needs and wants)?

Or do you just grab what's on sale, what's convenient or are you a habitual re-gifter?

Be honest now! : )

I work in an office of about 15 people, and most of them I have worked with for over 2 years. However, I really get along well with only a couple of them and want to get them a Christmas gift. Will this offend the others? (Of course I got my Boss a little something so thats not an issue).
