Had a straight best friend when I was in my 20's who was a military policeman. He became like a stalker after a while and scared off all my other friends and yet could not fully commit to a sexual relationship with me, just the occassional booty call when he had been drinking. I ended up moving 800 km away to start a new life without him.

I wish. As a teenager, I had a few "straight" best friends, who actually were straight. And I fell hard for each of them. After that I just had male best friends.. much easier on the heart.

no, but right now, i have a "straight" friend, and he always flirts with me, and i really like him, and i think he likes me. he is so awesome, and i like him so much, and i wish he would come out of the closet (and i wish i would too.)

No, but I had a best friend that I offered to blow in high school and he beat me up, and outed me. Ten years later he came out of the closet and wanted to be my friend. I hope he gets cancer and dies.
