If so, then I have a question for you. Why do you let illogical arguments slide when they are made by other atheists? That doesn't seem to logical to me...nor is it very open minded. Why would you attack and point out illogical arguments from believers (and yes I agree there are plenty of those), but then ignore illogical arguments from atheists. I hope it isn't just because it backs up your belief (non-belief, whatever you want to call it). Take a look at these questions, are these arguments not using some sort of fallacy or false logic? Why was it not pointed out in any of them...why do some atheist even agree with this false logic?

And that their assumptions about what is there are incorrect? When someone is trying to tell you what you are doing wrong in your life that you should change? And that is based on the person all of a sudden having read some kind of psychology book. Not that I don't agree in principal, but when the person is telling you what you are doing wrong without taking any responsiblility themselves? It is hard to tell someone "you have a plank in your eye" if they don't know what that means. It is not my place to say that anyway. My inclination is to say nothing, nod and stay quiet. But I would also like to be able to defend my position without creating an arguement. Do I just say that I understand where he is coming from? I sure hopes this makes sense.

Thank you for any advice and support you can give.

Faith alone in Jesus is sufficient for salvation, right? Then why is my religion saying that sacraments (eucharist, penance, infant baptism, etc) and plenary indulgences are required for salvation as well? What makes Jesus' work on the Cross insufficient for salvation? Where is the scriptural support for the added requirements? I am confused.

Why is it acceptable for famous African Americans to be publicly racist and makes racist remarks?

I have heard a lot of thing that Barry Bonds has said, and more or less his motivation to beat Babe Ruth's record was because Ruth was white and he is black. He also made remarks that his motivation for the single season record was because of his racial hatred for Mark McGuire. That no "cracker" should hold the record.

Why has no one demanded he make apologies?

Why can black rappers use the "N" word 7 to 10 times in a song, but Don Imus makes a off handed remark and he loses his job?

I have no problem being active in trying to stop racism and bigotry, but why do SOME African Americans think its ok for their own people to do it?

It cannot be used in Yahoo Q&A. It is an old English word that means “to plant.” Farmers once used a tool that punched a hole in the ground and put a seed inside the hole. It was called a “F***ing Machine.” You can find details and pictures of them in old encyclopedias. The same term is used to depict the process (also called “making love”) to make babies. Surly the fact that GOD wanted man to participate in the act of creating new life is one of his most precious gifts. How can a religious person consider such an act be dirty? Any one got any ideas?

God made a way for us, through Jesus Christ, so we could be set free from sin and hell- given eternal life in Him. This is a free gift from God, it cannot be earned ( Ephesians 2:8) Someday we will all stand before the Lord- Are you ready for that? His grace is so good! Salvation is now!

Christians saying that there's "no sex in Heaven" is like adding insult to injury. It's bad enough they think it's bad to do it alive unless you're married, and what if someone abides by that bad advice, this poor guy who never got married, died a 37 year old vigin, and can't have sex in Heaven?

That 37 year old guy SHOULD'VE had sex when he was alive and had the chance!!!!!! Now he'll have never had the chance to know what it was like for all ETERNITY now!!!!
