pour holy water on them.stake um in the heart or severe thier head are always good ones.put a silver cross on there skin burns the hell out of on.you already know garlic and sunlight.
try soil from sacred ground works like a cross,well any holy object like a bible will have some effect.any of the above would work if vampires were real you crazy goth nerd.

The mirror test is a tried and true method (very artfully demonstrated in a lavish dance scene in the movie "Dracula: Dead and Loving It")
Another is the garlic test. Of course, anyone who hates the smell of garlic might fail that one.
One might also try the daylight test, but I wouldn't recommend it on people who are extremely photosensitive. It might kill them or land them in the hospital, so also not overly reliable.
Definitely the mirror test. Everyone has a reflection. Almost everyone:)

Well, the ones on here seem to have no problem telling you they're a vampire. Even when you don't ask.
But I guess there are closeted vampires. In that case, you carry around some holy water and see what happens!

HMM sense we are only doing a test we couldn't put a stake through the heart because if they wasn't a vampire they would die anyway.
and we couldn't do the holy water thing either because if the person was demon possessed they wouldn't like holy water nor any thing pertaining to Christ.( ie bible cross ect..)
so I would do the Dr. approach take there temperature, listen to there heart to see if it was beating or not. there reaction to the site of blood,test there strength ability. Then if they passed all of them then I would go get a mirror , then take them into the sunlight.

You can tell if someone is a vampire if they want to bite you in the neck, if you never see them in the daylight, you can't see him in a mirror and if you never see him having silver on. So all you have to do is hold a little silver cross against him and if he melts hes a vampire and if he doesn't you made a fool out of yourself!

Holy water in the eyes. This way, if they aren't a "real" vampire, you can always just say you sneezed on them while they are temporarily blinded, so that they don't think you are some crazy person shooting holy water out of a plastic squirt gun.

Invite them over for an elaborate dinner. Serve Spaghetti with garlic flavored sauce and garlic bread with a green salad with garlic croutons and garlic dressing. If they don't eat but still hang around for "dessert" have a mirror covered ceiling and a quilt with embroidered crosses all over it.

I can think of a few. See how someone reacts to garlic, a crucifix, sunlight, holy water, and sacred wafers.
You could also see how someone reacts when he or she sees blood. Does he or she want to drink it? Or have him or her stand in front of a mirror. Does he or she have a reflection?
